Rookie Vlies cashes in at Outagamie Speedway

By Edward Anschutz SEYMOUR, Wis. (Aug. 18, 2023) – A rookie driver cashed in big Friday at Outagamie Speedway’s $1,000 to win special for Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods. Tyler Demars set the pace on the opening laps. A caution on lap four allowed rookie Coy Vlies a shot at Demars and he took it. As the field took the green, Vlies threw a slider going into turn one and made a clean pass for the lead. Vlies was able to keep the field at arm’s reach the rest of the way to score the win and a $1,000 payday for his efforts. Jordan Jahnke placed a solid second, Dylon Waldvogel placed third and Matt Radtke was fourth. The first 17 laps of the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified headliner clicked off quickly as Marcus Yarie paced the field. Sabin starts IMCA winners’ parade at Stuart Speedway

By Josh Reynolds STUART, Iowa (May 22, 2022) – Kolby Sabin started the parade of IMCA feature winners Sunday evening at Karl Chevrolet of Stuart International Speedway. Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts were the first sanctioned division on the speedway with Elijah Hoyt and Mitchell Bunch pacing the field. Hoyt led early with Bunch getting by on lap four. Bunch held the top spot until Sabin cruised by on lap eight. Tyler Fiebelkorn followed Sabin into second but couldn’t close the deal as Sabin went on to the win. Fiebelkorn finished second with Bunch third. Josh Pruitt and Jeremy Gettler brought the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars out with Gettler getting the advantage early on. Cautions on laps nine and 10 were the only thing slowing Gettler down as he led the distance to take the win. Buck Schafroth crossed in second with Pruitt third. Clinton County Speedway to Crown RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car Champion in ’26

(Jan. 16, 2025) — Clinton County Speedway will take the next step in its Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly Racing involvement in 2026 by crowning a RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car track champion. Traditionally, Clinton County Speedway’s role in the IMCA program has come through various IMCA Sprint Car Special Series events throughout Pennsylvania. Beginning in 2026, the 1/3-mile clay oval will offer a full points-paying schedule, giving drivers the opportunity to chase track, Pennsylvania State and national points. While Central Pennsylvania is often known for its high-speed half-mile “speed factories,” Clinton County’s bullring-style layout delivers nonstop action and side-by-side racing that has made it a favorite among fans and competitors alike. $1,000 Jan. 18 Sunday Night Showdown Awaits Stock Cars at Central Arizona Raceway

(Jan. 16, 2025) — Before the DeVilbiss Racing Chassis IMCA.TV Winter Nationals presented by Dynamic Drivelines and Pitt Stop Motorsports kicks off on January 21, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars will get the action started with a special Sunday night event at Central Arizona Raceway. The IMCA Stock Cars will take to the clay on Sunday, January 18, at the same facility that will host the Winter Nationals, giving competitors an early opportunity to tune up ahead of the opening round of the prestigious winter series. Pits will open at 1 p.m., grandstands will open at 3 p.m., with on-track activity scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. The event will pay $1,000 to the winner, with Black Magic Bead Breaker contributing $250 to the winner’s purse. 32nd Annual Ice Breaker Launches 2026 Season at Abilene Speedway on Feb. 20-21

By Ben Deatherage ABILENE, Texas (Jan. 15, 2026) — Abilene Speedway will usher in their 2026 racing season in a big way with the 32nd Annual Ice Breaker, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, February 20–21, featuring four Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly divisions, including IMCA Modifieds, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods, and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts. The Ice Breaker weekend will begin with an open practice session on Thursday, February 19, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Nightly race procedures for both Friday and Saturday will have the pill draw open at 3:00 p.m. and close at 5:45, followed immediately by the pit meeting. Each night of competition will award track, Texas State, and National points.
