I-30’s Scrapp Fox Memorial boasts $1,500 IMCA Modified payday

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – IMCA Modifieds race for $1,500 to win and a 2021 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berth at I-30 Speedway’s Saturday, Aug. 15 Scrapp Fox Memorial. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Jet Racing Central Region, Arkansas State and track points are also at stake at the 18th annual event. The $50 entry fee includes the driver’s pit pass if paid by Aug. 14. Pit passes are $30 on race day and spectator admission is $20 for adults, $1 for kids ages 6-12 when accompanied by a paid adult and free for ages five and under. IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars to headline U.S. 36 show on Friday

OSBORN, Mo. – This Friday, Aug. 7, the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars headline a big night of racing at U.S. 36 Raceway with a $1,200 to win and $250 to start show. Along with the Sprint Cars, the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods are also racing. Sprint Cars will run under the draw and redraw format.  Stock Cars are also running the Shocker Chassis Six Pack Shootout. Six drivers will be voted into the exciting bracket style event, which will be run at the end of the night. Dodge City Raceway Park is back in action Saturday night

By Lonnie Wheatley  DODGE CITY, Kan. – Dodge City Raceway Park’s Lubbock Wrecker Service DCRP Sprint Car Nationals is little more than two weeks away.  Following an idle weekend at the 3/8-mile clay oval, this Saturday’s tilt will be the final opportunity to get dialed in for the Hambelton Racing DCRP Sprint Cars before the Nationals that take place on Aug. 20-22 as the Sprint Cars have next Saturday, August 15 off in order to finalize preparations for the mega-event. Along with the Sprint Cars, this Saturday’s card includes a full slate of championship chase action including IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks.  Racing action gets under way at 7:30 p.m.

IMCA Modifieds chase $1,000 top prize Saturday at Thunderbird

MUSKEGON, Mich. – IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win and a 2021 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berth in their Saturday, Aug. 8 feature at Thunderbird Raceway.  The evening’s race program is sponsored by ARP Automotive Race Products and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region, KMJ Perfor­mance State and track points will be awarded. Pit passes are $30. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 60 years and over and $5 for kids ages 6-11. Kids ages five and under are free. Small coolers but no glass bottles are allowed. Pit gates at Muskegon open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 5 p.m. and racing starts at 6:30 p.m.

IMCA Modifieds, Late Models headline Iowa Donor Network Night at Indee

INDEPENDENCE, Iowa – IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win while the IMCA Sunoco Late Models crown a track champion Saturday at Independence Motor Speedway.  The Iowa Donor Network Night event features a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier for the Modifieds while Late Models run for an $860 top check in their 2020 season champion­ship event at Indee. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars chase a $550 top check, with $500 paid to win in the Karl Kustoms North­ern SportMod feature and $300 to win in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks. Monetary contributions will be paid throughout each feature field. There will be prizes for fans and driv­ers, along with a raffle and bike drawing for kids. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. Spectator admission is $13 for adults and $5 for kids. Pit passes are $25. Watermelon Classic set for Saturday at Boone Speedway

BOONE, Iowa – IMCA Modified drivers have two chances to win $1,000 at Saturday’s Watermelon Classic at Boone Speedway. Along with the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot-qualifying feature on Aug. 1, there’s $1,000 at stake in the 12-car P1 Promotions Modified Challenge. That field will be determined by group time trials and passing points, with the winner receiving a unique trophy from Legends Custom Decals, the high point driver receiving a wrap from Capital and the fast time driver getting a drive shaft from Dynamic Drivelines. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars race for $1,000 to win their feature, with IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both racing for $500 to win.  The event is draw/redraw, heat winners get watermelons and different position bonuses and incentives will be given. Hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. Spectator admission is $20 for adults, $5 for students ages 13-17 and free for kids ages 12 and under.  The Watermelon Classic will be broadcast by IMCA.TV.

Winston Speedway hosts Friday Fast Shafts All-Star qualifier

ROTHBURY, Mich. – A check for $1,200 and a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berth go to the winner of the IMCA Modified main event this Friday night at Winston Speedway.  The July 31 show is draw/redraw and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region, KMJ Performance State and track points will be awarded.  Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. The draw ends and hot laps start at 6:30 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m.  There is no entry fee; pit passes are $30 with admission to the pits free for children two and under. Hobo 40 at Hancock County pays IMCA Stock Car winner $2,000

BRITT, Iowa – Forty laps will be the distance and $2,000 will be the top prize at Hancock County Speedway’s Friday, July 31 Hobo 40 special for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars. That feature pays a minimum of $200 to start, has a $75 entry fee and highlights the county fair show. Also on the race night card are IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, KMJ Performance State and track points will be awarded. Back-to-Front Challenge returns to Dodge City on Friday night

By Lonnie Wheatley DODGE CITY, Kan. – The Back-to-Front Challenge is back at this Friday night’s Dodge City Raceway Park Driver & Fan Appreciation Night.  And a lucky fan could walk away from the night’s races with an extra $10,000.  The always popular Driver & Fan Appreciation Night continues July 24 at the 3/8-mile clay oval in Southwest Kansas with fans admitted for $5 with a ticket from a driver.  Otherwise, general admission is $12. Drivers and fans alike will be treated to all variety of giveaways throughout the night of racing that includes the Hambelton Racing DCRP Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks. To cap the evening off, if a selected driver can race from the 20th starting position in his feature event to take the win then a lucky fan holding the winning ticket can win $10,000.  Friday marks the fourth round of championship chase action at Dodge City Raceway Park. Racing action gets under way at 7:30 p.m.

U.S. 36 hosts fourth annual Crist Memorial for IMCA Stock Cars

OSBORN, Mo. – U.S. 36 Raceway hosts the Joe Crist Memorial Stock Car Shootout on Friday, July 24, with $1,562 going to the winner of the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car special. The feature pays a minimum of $125 to start. Crist drove the number 62 Stock Car and $162 will go to the driver making the longest haul to Osborn and $62 paid to each heat winner and the hard charger in the feature. Another $62 goes to the driver drawing the 62 pill.  IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region, Missouri State and track points will be awarded at the draw/redraw show. There is no entry fee and pit passes are $35. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults and free for kids ages 12 and under. IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods are also on the program that evening.  Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 7:30 p.m. with racing to follow.
