Casey’s General Store signs three-year pact to support IMCA Super Nationals, Deery Series

ANKENY, Iowa – Casey’s General Store has signed a new three-year agreement to back both the biggest event in all of dirt track racing and the premier tour for Late Models in the Midwest. The Official Convenience Store of IMCA, Casey’s returns as presenting sponsor for the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals, to be held Sept. 5-10 at Boone Speedway, and as title spon­sor for the redraw at all Deery Brothers Summer Series main events. The new pact runs through the 2018 race season. Based in Ankeny, Iowa, Casey’s now has more than 1,900 stores in 14 states and became an IMCA marketing partner in 2013. Both Casey’s and IMCA will donate $10 to Hope for the Warriors on behalf of each heat winner during the week of Super Nationals, adding to the already $15,000 donated the past three Septem­bers. Track championship and Super Nationals awards highlight Fast Shaft’s IMCA program 

DES MOINES, Iowa – Axle Exchange, the parent company of Fast Shafts, enjoys another high visibility season of IMCA partnership, comple­menting track championship awards with a title sponsor role at the biggest dirt track racing event in the nation. The 400 local track champions crowned in the Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified, IMCA Late Model, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Scoggin-Dicky Parts Center Southern SportMod all receive two $25 product certificates from the Des Moines, Iowa, manufacturer of the Fast Shafts brand of drive shafts. Fast Shafts returns to national decal programs for the Stock Cars, Northern SportMods and Southern SportMods. Drivers in all three divisions must display two Fast Shafts decals on their race car to be eligible for point fund shares. Southern SportMods new on opening night at Super Nationals 

BOONE, Iowa ­– The first Southern SportMod champion will be crowned at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. A complete program for the class will be run on opening night Monday, Sept. 5 at Boone Speed­way. Purse and entry fee amounts are to be determined. “We wanted to make this announcement now so drivers can make plans to attend,” IMCA President Brett Root said. “A lot of them will be traveling from two or three states away so we hope to get sponsorship involved to bump up the purse to help cover travel expenses.” The division won’t be part of the Sept. 3 Prelude to the Super Nationals show at Boone but drivers can hotlap that evening.
