Rich IMCA Harris Clash returns to Deer Creek Speedway
SPRING VALLEY, Minn. (July 15, 2022) – How can you improve on an already great event like the Harris Clash? Promoter Bob Harris says more money is a good way to start. While Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds run for $5,000 to win their main event on Tuesday, Aug. 2 at Deer Creek Speedway, the minimum paid to start the feature has been upped to $500. Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods see a boost as well and run for $2,500 to win. “The Modified winner gets another $500 if their chassis builder is part of the Clash manufacturers’ cup, plus a new $100 bonus for every position they advance in the main event from the TraLo Companies out of Owatonna,” explained Harris. “We’ve added a lot of money to the back side of the Modified purse and the Northern SportMods are running for $2,500 to win so we’ve got a real good payout again this year.” The Modified winner becomes eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational.
