Dubuque Speedway to host Tri-Track IMCA Late Model Special 

By Jerry Mackey DUBUQUE, Iowa – This Sunday, July 3, Dubuque Speedway will host a special racing event featuring the Out-Pace Racing Products IMCA Late Models. The Ideal Ready Mix Tri-Track Challenge will be held with the Late Models battling for 50 laps on the high banks of Dubuque Speedway with a first place $2,000 prize awaiting the winner. In addition to the Late Models, IMCA-sanctioned Modifieds, Northern SportMods and Stock Cars will all be in action. Sunday night’s special event will get underway with hot laps at 6 p.m. and the first race of the night at 6:30 p.m.

Seventh annual IMCA Sheen Memorial is July 2-3 at Cardinal Speedway     

EUNICE, N.M. – Four IMCA divisions are featured at Cardinal Speedway’s seventh annual Kelly Sheen Memorial Shootout Saturday and Sunday, July 2-3. Qualifying begins on Saturday. Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center SportMods all run Sunday for $1,100 to win while IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks vie for a top check of $500. The Modified feature is a 2016 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying event. All IMCA feature winners receive a 55-gallon drum of fuel in addition to their cash winnings and fireworks follow the Sunday show. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded to Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock drivers; Southern SportMod drivers race for national and state points. Potential $2,000 top prize at Hancock County’s IMCA Hobby Stock special

BRITT, Iowa – The winner of Hancock County Speedway’s inaugural IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock special earns at least $1,000 and as much as $2,000. The Saturday, July 2 main event at Britt pays a guaranteed $1,000 to win with $500 bonuses if that driver has perfect attendance and has won a previous feature at Hancock County this season. Second place pays $750, with $500 for third. Start money is $100 and tow is $50. Entry fee, if paid by June 24, is $30. Also on the evening’s race program are Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts. $1,500 is top check at Luxemburg IMCA Stock Car special 

LUXEMBURG, Wis. – The winner takes home $1,500 from Luxemburg Speedway’s Friday, July 1 special for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars. The event is sponsored by Quietwoods RV Sales and Service. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region and Allstar Performance State, but not local track points will be awarded. Entry fee is $20. Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, vying for all applicable points, complete the evening card. Pit gates open at 4:45 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:40 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 for teens ages 13-17 and free for kids 12 and under. $3,500 is top check when IMCA Hawkeye Dirt Tour travels to Hancock County for Salute to Veterans show  

BRITT, Iowa (June 23) – The Hawkeye Dirt Tour returns to Britt and five IMCA divisions see on-track action at Hancock County Speedway’s Salute To Veterans special on Tuesday, June 28. Touring Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds race for $3,500 to win their Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier while the runner-up earns $1,600. Fourteen hundred dollars will be paid for third, $1,200 for fourth and $1,000 for fifth. Hancock County is the only track to have hosted an HDT event every year since the series started in 2010. $100,000 up for grabs for United Rebel Sprint Series during “Month of Money”

DODGE CITY, Kan. – Through the month of July and the first week of August, the IMCA Rac­eSaver United Rebel Sprint Series will compete for an estimated $100,000 in total purse money during a 13-race stretch that begins July 1 in Dodge City, Kan., and ends Aug 6 at the famed Belle­ville High Banks in Belleville, Kan. This will be the largest combined payout for the “Month of Money” in the 11-year history of the URSS. 10 Ironman Series race dates for IMCA Modifieds in Nevada

TONOPAH, Nev. – Ten $1,000 to win race dates at five Nevada tracks make up the 2016 Evenson Law Office Ironman Challenge Series for Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds. All 10 features are qualifying events for the upcoming Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot and pay a minimum of $100 to start. The series opens with Saturday and Sunday, June 25 and 26 shows at Tonopah Speedway then moves on to Hawthorne Speedway on Monday and Tuesday, June 27 and 28. IMCA Modified tour dates tote $1,000 to win checks in Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota

BILLINGS, Mont. – Two upcoming tours traveling in three states will give Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified drivers nine opportunities to win $1,000 over the course of just 10 days. All feature races in the June 25-29 Interstate IMCA Modified Challenge Series and the July 1-4 Warriors Rendezvous in Montana series are qualifying events for the 2016 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. BRITT, Iowa – One of the top-paying events of the season could send the winner of Hancock County Speedway’s Tuesday, June 21 MaxY­ield Seed Northern SportMod Nationals home with as much as $4,000. The main event for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods pays a minimum of $2,500 to win. Five hun­dred dollar bonuses will be paid if that driver has raced at least six times this season, has perfect attendance and has won a regular sea­son feature at Britt this season. Payout has been increased throughout the field with the runner-up earning $1,200 and the third-place finisher $1,000. FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. (June 17) – The richest week of IMCA Racing in Wisconsin takes Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified drivers to 141 Speedway, Oshkosh SpeedZone Raceway and Shawano Speedway for the three installments of the Cheesehead Triple Crown. A top check of $10,000 is at stake at the June 22-23 Clash at the Creek. Both the June 24 Battle at the Zone at Oshkosh and the June 25 Fury at the Fairgrounds at Shawano pay $5,000 to win.
