$1,500 in cash bonuses paid for Deery Series Highway 20 Triple Crown

VINTON, Iowa (April 19) – Cash bonuses totaling $1,500 will be added to purses paid at this weekend’s Deery Brothers Summer Series tripleheader.

The Highway 20 Triple Crown takes touring IMCA Late Models to Farley Speedway on Friday, April 21, to Independence Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 22 and to Dubuque Speedway on Sunday, April 23.

Each feature pays $2,000 to win and a minimum of $300 to start. Drivers who compete at all three events are eligible for bonuses based on point standings for the weekend.

The top driver in points earns $500, with $400 for second, $300 for third, $200 for fourth and $100 for fifth.

Checks will be mailed next week from the IMCA home office in Vinton.

IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods are also on the card at Farley, where racing follows 7 p.m. hot laps.

Racing follows 6 p.m. hot laps at Independence, where the evening’s IMCA Modified feature pays $1,000 and is a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. Also running are IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks.

The Dubuque program also includes IMCA Modifieds and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods. Hot laps are at 6 p.m. with racing to follow.

Both the Farley and Independence shows were rescheduled after being rained out last weekend.
