Monday Night Spotlight shines at Stuart Speedway on July 2

STUART, Iowa – The spotlight shines on three IMCA divisions at Stuart Speedway’s Monday, July 2 Monday Night Spotlight special. IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win in a feature that doubles as a 2018 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier and Harris Dash at the Clash qualifier. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods both run for $700 to win. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing national, regional and Iowa State points, but no track points will be given. The Monday Night Spotlight program will be broadcast by IMCA.TV and concludes with the 12th Dirt Dominator race. Pit gates and the grandstand open at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing to follow. Spectator admission is $5 for adults and free for kids 12 and under. Potential IMCA Modified payoff tops $5,000 at Hogan Memorial

VINTON, Iowa – The winner of one of the longest-running special events for IMCA Modifieds could earn more than $5,000 for their pre-holiday efforts. Benton County Speedway in Vinton hosts the 24th annual Hogan Memorial on Tuesday, July 3. The Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying main event pays a minimum of $2,333 to win. Fifty dollars will be paid to the leader of each of the feature’s 50 laps with an increased bonus of $450 plus a new Hoosier G-60 tire going to the leader when the race is stopped at halfway. The feature is also a Harris Dash at the Clash qualifier. In addition, the Hogan pays $983 for second, $808 for third, $683 for fourth and $558 for fifth. Minimum start money is $283. Eagle Raceway primed for sixth annual IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Nationals

EAGLE, Neb. – IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car teams from across the country will head to Eagle Raceway for the Aug. 30-Sept. 2 RaceSaver Nationals. The sixth annual event concludes with a $2,500 to win, $1,250 to start main event. Deery Brothers Summer Series gets top billing at Benton County Fair show

VINTON, Iowa (June 22) – The Deery Brothers Summer Series makes a much anticipated return to Benton County Speedway next Thursday night. Touring IMCA Late Models race for $2,000 to win and a minimum of $300 to start the June 28 main event, which headlines the county fair show in Vinton. Pit gates and the grandstand open at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. and racing begins at 7 p.m. The series has made just two previous visits to BCS, which can stake a claim to fame as the site of Darrel DeFrance’s first series win. Hosting the same honor in 2017, the Northern California ¼-mile oval will shred the clay on Friday, June 22 and is expected to have high car counts along with great racing. JEFFERSON, S.D. – A $1,000 to win Road to the Iron Cup feature event for IMCA Modifieds is on the Saturday, June 23 card at Park Jefferson Speedway. URSS readies for Colorado return

CALHAN, Colo. – After a huge weekend at the DCRP/URSS 305 Nationals in Dodge City, the Rebels will now set their sites on heading to the state of Colorado as they return this Saturday night to El Paso County Raceway in Calhan. A large contingent of drivers from Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma will converge on the ¼ mile D-shaped oval to meet up with a great field of cars from Colorado to vie for the $1,000 to win, minimum $200 to start feature. The last visit to the El Paso County Raceway was in 2014 when Jake Bubak topped a stellar field of 26 cars to take the victory and earn a $1,000 payday. URSS heads to Dodge City for 305 Nationals this weekend

DODGE CITY, Kan. – One of the highlights on the 2018 United Rebel Sprint Series takes place this coming Friday and Saturday, June 15 and 16 as the Rebels head to Dodge City Raceway Park for the second annual Lubbock Wrecker Service 305 Sprint Car Nationals.” The tour will be joined by the track’s Precise Racing Products DCRP Sprint Cars for two nights of fast-paced sprint car action. Friday night’s feature payout will be at least $500 for the winner and $125 to start the finale. All non-qualifiers earn $100.
