$3,500 is top IMCA Modified check at Heart O’ Texas Fall Classic

WACO, Texas – Both a check for $3,500 and a spot on the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot go to the IMCA Modified feature winner at Heart O’ Texas Speedway’s Fall Classic special Oct. 22-24. The runner-up earns $2,000 with $1,000 for third. Saturday’s main event pays a minimum of $300 to start. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods both race for $1,500 to win, $750 for second, $500 for third and a minimum of $100 to start. Abilene hosts 26th annual IMCA Southern Challenge

ABILENE, Texas – Two thousand dollars is the top prize in IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod features at Abilene Speedway’s Friday and Saturday, Oct. 16 and 17 Ryan Bard Memorial Southern Challenge. The Modified feature is a qualifier for the 2021 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot and pays a minimum of $300 to start. Both the Stock Car and SportMod features pay a minimum of $200 to start. The opening night qualifying feature pays $1,000 to win and sends the top four finishers to Saturday’s $2,000 to win Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying main event. ARDMORE, Okla. – IMCA Modifieds, Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are all on the ticket for Southern Oklahoma Speedway’s Oct. 9 and 10 Jordan Page Winter Nationals. Modifieds run for $2,500 to win and a minimum of $300 to start their 2021 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. Southern SportMods run for $1,500 to win and a minimum of $200 to start, Stock Cars for $1,000 to win and a minimum of $175 at the 16th annual event. Pre-entry for all three divisions is $75 until Oct. 8 or $100 after that date. An open practice is Thursday, Oct. 8. Pit passes are $15. Friday qualifying locks top in the top 12 drivers with last-chance racing and main events on Saturday. OSBORN, Mo. – The second annual IMCA Missouri Nationals is set for Oct. 8-10 at US 36 Raceway. The event features the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods. The event is also broadcast live on IMCA TV. PASS ends season at Lincoln Speedway, Selinsgrove

By Frank Buhrman ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania Sprint Series will run its final two-race weekend of the season this Friday and Saturday, at Lincoln Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway. This also is the final weekend for 2020 points. On Friday night, the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car series will be part of the program at Lincoln. Early registration has indicated a likely field of well over 30 RaceSaver teams. Pit gates open at 5:30 p.m., with hot laps at 6:30 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m. General admission for the evening is $10 for adults and pit passes are $30. On Saturday, PASS is at Selinsgrove, where division sponsor Apache Tree Service has put up $200 for the hard charger award. URSS sets sails for two-day WaKeeney Showdown

WaKEENEY, Kan. – The United Rebel Sprint Series Presented by Mel Hambelton Ford Racing has set its sail on the two-day WaKeeney Showdown this Saturday, Sept. 26 and Sunday, Sept. 27. The weekend’s events will take place atop the 3/8-mile semi-banked dirt oval of WaKeeney Speedway. Saturday’s URSS feature winner will take home $700. Racing is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Sunday’s winner will earn $1,000. Racing is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. General admission is $20 for adults, kids ages 7-12 are $5 and children 6 and under are free both days. The WaKeeney Showdown will conclude the IMCA point season and many non-regular series drivers are expected to attend vying for their last chance at an IMCA championship.

28th annual Tiny Lund Memorial this weekend at Shelby County Speedway

HARLAN, Iowa – Shelby County Speedway rolls out the red carpet for six IMCA divisions at the 28th annual Tiny Lund Memorial Friday and Saturday, Sept. 25 and 26. Friday night action is in honor of the Dale Swanson Memorial and sees the IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Late Models racing for $755 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods for $655 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $555 and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $155 to win.
