LA CROSSE, Kan. (Oct. 13, 2026) — Rush County Speedway will close its first full Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly Racing season with the Last Call Classic, a two-night event scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 23-24, at The Bullring on the Rush County Fairgrounds.
The event features United Rebel Sprint Series (URSS) competitors alongside Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, and Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods. The weekend offers $1,500 to win for both Modifieds and Stock Cars, $1,000 for the URSS, and $750 for Northern SportMods.
The weekend will serve as qualifiers for the 2027 Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational and B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational. Winners of the main events will earn eligibility to attempt to qualify for their respective invitationals at next September’s Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.
“The season isn’t over yet,” promoter William Nusser said. “One more weekend. One last shot under the lights. This is last call at The Bullring for 2026 — and we see Last Call Classic becoming an annual event.”
Friday’s program includes open practice for all classes from 6-8 p.m., followed by optional qualifying for Modifieds, Stock Cars, and Northern SportMods. Drivers who qualify will lock into Saturday’s feature redraw, with the fastest qualifier in each division earning $200.
Friday grandstand admission is $5, with pit passes priced at $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and younger.
Saturday’s activities begin with Trunk-or-Treat in the pits from 3-4:45 p.m. Young fans wearing Halloween costumes will receive free grandstand admission.
Hot laps begin at 5 p.m., followed by heat races and championship features. URSS competitors will run a complete program of heats and features, while IMCA drivers who did not lock into Saturday’s redraw through Friday qualifying will compete in heats for their opportunity to advance.
Saturday grandstand admission is $18 for adults, $15 for military personnel and seniors, and $5 for youth. Admission is free for those wearing Halloween costumes.
The Last Call Classic will be broadcast live on IMCA TV, where America comes to watch racing.
The additional weekend also supports the speedway’s Take a Seat into the Future campaign, which is raising funds for improved and more accessible seating following capacity crowds earlier in the season.
