Richards Rallies to Eagle Raceway Stock Car Victory

EAGLE, Neb. (Aug. 1, 2026) — Dillon Richards charged from ninth starting position to capture Saturday night’s Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature at Eagle Raceway.

Terry Richards led the opening six laps before Mike Lineberry took over on lap seven. Dillon Richards steadily worked his way forward, taking second with seven laps remaining before slipping past Lineberry one lap later. A late caution erased his advantage, but Richards was flawless on the restart and drove away for the victory.

The Beatrice driver earned his fifth EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of the season, including his third at Eagle Raceway.

Mason Richards finished second, Kyle Vanover was third, Casey Woken crossed the stripe fourth, and Mike Lineberry completed the top five. Mason Richards earned hard charger honors after advancing from 18th to second.

Harker Prevails in Modified Main

Shawn Harker took advantage of late-race opportunities to score the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature.

Aaron Pella led the opening lap before Adam Wasserman took command on lap two. Cameron Thompson moved to the front on lap eight, but his bid ended with a spin while leading on lap 11. Harker capitalized on the ensuing restart, grabbed the lead, and survived several late cautions to secure the win.

The Nebraska City driver earned his fourth Jet Racing Central Region victory of the season, all coming at Eagle Raceway.

Chad Andersen finished second, Wasserman was third, Adam Vrbka crossed the stripe fourth, and Johnny Saathoff rounded out the top five. Matt Short earned hard charger honors after advancing from 20th to eighth.

Floyd Flies to SportMod Victory

Aiden Floyd worked his way from 11th starting position to the front to claim the Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMod feature.

Steffen Oaks paced the opening three laps before Floyd found the lead on lap four and controlled the remainder of the race despite several cautions.

The Lincoln driver earned his second victory of the season, with both coming at Eagle Raceway.

Noah Williams finished second, Cole Wayman crossed the stripe third, Gary Saathoff was fourth, and Mary Hahn completed the top five. Jacob Swanson earned hard charger honors after advancing from 17th to sixth.

Markham Breaks Through in Hobby Stocks

Dan Markham raced from eighth starting position to score his first Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock victory of the season.

Jeffry Thompson led the opening lap before Markham worked to the front and held off the field through several late cautions.

The Plattsmouth driver earned his first B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region victory of 2026.

Neil Pella finished second, Tyler Ramsey was third, Kyle Gannon crossed the stripe fourth, and Brad Burhenne rounded out the top five. Ben Becher earned hard charger honors after advancing from 19th to 10th.

Gullion Leads Every Lap in Sprint Cars

Adam Gullion led every circuit of the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature to collect his first victory of the season.

The Lincoln driver controlled the race despite several cautions and never relinquished the lead.

Gaige Weldon charged from 17th to finish second and earned hard charger honors. Cole Wayman finished third, Gunnar Pike was fourth, and Trevor Grossenbacher completed the top five.

Andersen Stuns Eagle Crowd with Last-Lap Modified Thriller

(May 23, 2026) — Eagle Raceway delivered another wild night of racing action on Saturday, highlighted by a dramatic Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature that saw Chad Andersen charge from 11th starting position to steal the victory on the final lap. Junior Fan Club Night crowd cheers Wade’s Eagle win

(May 6, 2023) – Youngsters vied in the Sam’s Club Kid’s Money Grab at intermission, then cheered Michael Wade onto his career first IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock feature win during Saturday’s Junior Fan Club Night program at Eagle Raceway. Wade, a direct descendant of local racing legend Smokin’ Joe Wade, who graced local tracks for many years, took the lead on lap two and outran Adam Wasserman and Kyle Gannon to the checkers.  “I have to thank Adam for racing me cleanly. Wayman handles Eagle SportMod foes

(June 27) – Cole Wayman got the lead on lap seven and drove to the Karl Kustoms North­ern SportMod checkers Saturday at Eagle Raceway.  Wayman had cracked the top four on the fourth circuit and the top three the next time around. The final caution of the Star Spangled Showdown show came with six laps left and while Matt Andrews was the mn on the move, he had to settle for third behind Wayman and Mike Scheinost.  Toby Chapman was the fourth and final leader in the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature, beating Adam Gullion and Ryan King to the checkers.  Other winners were Jordan Grabouski in the IMCA Modifieds, Jeff Ware in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Dillon Richards in the Mach-1 Sport Compacts.  Next weekend is Eagle Raceway’s annual Fourth of July Freedom Fest. There will be a Red, White and Blue Challenge at intermission with the area’s largest fireworks display following the final feature. Front gates open at 5 p.m.
