Nodak Speedway’s All-Stars of August Memorial Specials Return Aug. 9 and 16

MINOT, N.D. (July 27, 2026) — Four memorial races honoring individuals who helped shape racing at Nodak Speedway highlight the second annual All-Stars of August specials, returning to the Playground of Power at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds for two consecutive Sundays on Aug. 9 and 16.

Each night of racing begins at 7 p.m., with the featured memorial events paying $2,000 to win.

The opening program on Aug. 9 features the Ole Olson Memorial for Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars and the John Gaule Memorial for Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods. The following Aug. 16, the spotlight shifts to the Monte Lundy Memorial for Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds and the Bonnie Beeter Memorial for Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks.

Unlike last season, when the four memorial races were spread across four separate weekends, this year’s schedule brings all four events together over two consecutive Saturdays, creating a pair of marquee nights for racers and fans.

The Monte Lundy Memorial is a Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational qualifier, with the winner earning eligibility to attempt to qualify for the event during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September. The Ole Olson Memorial serves as a B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational qualifier, with the winner earning eligibility to attempt to qualify for that event at Super Nationals.

Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly Racing National, regional, and North Dakota State points will be awarded in all IMCA divisions. Modifieds compete for Razor Chassis North Central Region points, Stock Cars race for EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region points, and Hobby Stocks compete for B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region points.

The Monte Lundy Memorial returns for another chapter after Aaron Turnbull captured the inaugural edition in 2024, and Travis Hagen added his name to the honor roll with last year’s victory.

The John Gaule Memorial, Ole Olson Memorial, and Bonnie Beeter Memorial all debuted last season. Gabriel Deschamp claimed the inaugural John Gaule Memorial, Jake Nelson captured the first Ole Olson Memorial, and Caden Appelt won the inaugural Bonnie Beeter Memorial.

General admission is $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and military personnel, $5 for children ages 6-12, and free for kids five and under.

34th IMCA.TV Dakota Classic Modified Tour starts Saturday in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (July 6, 2023) – Online entries continue to come in for the 34th annual IMCA.TV Dakota Classic Modified Tour. The six consecutive night tour for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stocks Cars is again an international series with Estevan Motor Speedway in Saskatchewan back after a three-year absence due to the Covid pandemic. Nodak to host IMCA Dakota Tour on two nights as U.S.-Canadian border remains closed

MINOT, N.D. – With the restriction on non-essential travel between the United States and Canada extended into mid-July, Nodak Speedway will host a second Corral Sales Dakota Classic Tour event. Touring IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are at Minot on Sunday, July 11 and now Monday, July 12 as well.
