Goos Charges From 12th to Thursday Night Sprint Victory at Jackson

JACKSON, Minn. (June 25, 2026) — Defending IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car national champion Lee Goos Jr. charged from 12th starting position to capture a thrilling victory Thursday night at Jackson Motorplex during the second round of the Heiman Fire Equipment Mayhem Summer Series.

The Hartford, South Dakota, driver methodically carved through the field before making the winning pass with four laps remaining. Goos then held off the competition over the closing circuits to earn his fourth career Jackson Motorplex victory.

The triumph was Goos’ fourth overall victory of the 2026 season and his first at Jackson.

Dylan Waxdahl was credited with second, followed by Jake Greenwood and Aydin Lloyd. Trevor Serbus completed the top five after advancing from 11th on the starting grid.

Braden Ockenga, Lloyd, Greenwood and Waxdahl won the evening’s heat races, while Jeremy Schultz claimed the B Main.
