$10,111-to-Win Tanner Pelster Memorial Returns to Boone County Raceway July 12

ALBION, Neb. (June 24, 2026) — One of Nebraska’s most meaningful special events returns to Boone County Raceway on Sunday, July 12, as the sixth annual Sudbeck Underground Tanner Pelster Memorial honors the life and legacy of a beloved racer, competitor, and friend.

The event will feature Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks, and Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds competing for some of the richest purses of the season.

Headlining the program are the IMCA Stock Cars, which will race for a massive $10,111 winner’s share. Second place pays $5,111, third earns $3,111, and all starters in the 24-car main event will take home at least $311. A tow bonus of $211 is also available.

The IMCA Stock Car feature winner will also be guaranteed a starting position in the 2026 B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational, to be held during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds and Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks will each compete for $3,111 to win. Both divisions pay $1,111 for second and $1,011 for third, while all 24 feature starters will earn at least $211. Each class also features a $111 tow bonus.

The IMCA Modified winner will earn eligibility to try and qualify for the 2026 Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational, also held during the IMCA Super Nationals.

Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly Racing National and Nebraska State points will be awarded in all three divisions. Modified drivers will compete for Jet Racing Central Region points, Stock Car competitors for EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region points, and Hobby Stock racers for B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region points.

Opening ceremonies are scheduled for 3 p.m., with racing set to begin at 4 p.m.

The Tanner Pelster Memorial has grown into one of the premier events on the regional racing calendar, attracting top competitors from throughout Nebraska and neighboring states while celebrating the memory of Tanner and the impact he continues to have on the racing community.

Drivers in all three divisions are encouraged to complete their pre-registration through MyRacePass ahead of race day.
