ARLINGTON, Minn. (May 16, 2026) — A packed night of Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly Racing action at Arlington Raceway featured exciting battles across all divisions, highlighted by Broddy Enter’s late-race charge in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars.

Matt Speckman led early from the pole in the 20-lap Stock Car feature while plenty of action unfolded throughout the stout 24-car field. Luke Sathoff ran second until a lap two caution flew when the No. 96 of Cornelius broke in turn three, ending his evening.

On the restart, Speckman resumed command, but Vesta’s Broddy Enter methodically reeled him in after starting eighth. With five laps remaining, Enter dug to the bottom groove and wrestled away the lead. Dan Mackenthun, who started 12th, followed Enter past Speckman in the closing laps.

Enter went on to score his first EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of the season and the first of his career in the division. Mackenthun crossed the line second while Speckman held on for third. Sathoff finished fourth and Curt Lund charged from 15th to round out the top five.

Hatlestad Hustles to Modified Score

The Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature saw three different leaders before Glencoe native Clint Hatlestad took control for his first Razor Chassis North Central Region victory of the season.

Todd Stinehart led the opening two laps before mechanical troubles sidelined Zach Schultz and brought out a caution. Trent Loverude inherited the lead on the restart with Stinehart glued to his rear bumper.

Hatlestad, who started seventh, had his machine dialed in and surged around Loverude on lap five to claim the top spot. From there, the race stayed green the rest of the distance as Hatlestad drove away for the victory.

Loverude finished second while Matthew Looft completed the podium. Stinehart settled for fourth ahead of Chad Porter.

Volk Rallies Late in Hobby Stock Main

Lake Crystal’s Chad Volk earned his second B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region victory of the season in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature after a dramatic late-race battle.

Taylor Manderfield appeared poised for the win before mechanical issues sent him to the work area and eventually to the pits, opening the door for Volk. Austin Jahnz briefly led a lap late in the race, but Volk powered back by and crossed the stripe first after starting eighth.

Jahnz, who rolled off ninth, finished second while Jordan Robinson stormed from 12th to third. Ben Davis and Tayte Harazin completed the top five.

Reierson Survives Wild SportMod Affair

The Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods endured a caution-filled feature before hometown racer Ben Reierson emerged victorious.

A five-car pileup on the opening lap immediately slowed the race, followed by two more cautions for spinning cars in the early going. Reierson, who started third, grabbed the lead from the second row and never relinquished it to score his first win of the season.

Eric Larson and Tim Bergerson battled fiercely for second throughout the race, with Larson holding the spot at the checkers after starting eighth. Bergerson advanced from ninth to third while Joey Reimers and Eric Bassett rounded out the top five.

Allen Goes Back-to-Back in Sprint Cars

Gaylord’s Brett Allen continued his hot streak in the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Cars, leading every lap for his second straight Arlington victory and second win of the 2026 campaign.

Allen seized command on the opening lap by powering around Andrew Allen on the backstretch. A caution on lap eight slowed the field after Andrew Allen spun in turn two, but Brett Allen remained flawless on the restart.

Bill Johnson chased Allen throughout the second half while Trevor Serbus found speed late and climbed into third with four laps remaining. Matt Johnson and Owen Graf completed the top five.

Schumacher Stays Perfect at Arlington

Gary Schumacher of Maplewood remained unbeaten at Arlington Raceway in the Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact division.

Starting from the front row, Schumacher led the entire distance despite a chaotic finish-line collision that shuffled positions behind him. The victory marked Schumacher’s second win of the season, with both triumphs coming at Arlington.

Brandon Hartmann finished second while Dale Gatton, Alan Lahr, and Kevin Madson completed the top five.
