Lloyd Charges to Season Opening Sprint Car Victory at Huset’s

BRANDON, S.D. (May 10, 2026) — Aydin Lloyd led the final 13 laps to capture his second career RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car victory at Huset’s Speedway during the season-opening 20-lap main event.

Owen Carlson paced the opening seven circuits before the Brandon native capitalized while working through traffic. Lloyd took command on lap eight and steadily pulled away during the caution-free feature, building nearly a five-second advantage at one point before winning by 1.264 seconds.

Carlson settled for second, while Brandon Bosma advanced from ninth to finish third. Andrew Sullivan crossed the line fourth, followed by Cole Vanderheiden in fifth.

Heat race victories went to Travis Christensen, Carlson, Dylan Waxdahl, and Lloyd. Michalob Voeltz won the B Main.

Goos Jr. Grabs First Huset’s Victory of 2025 in Wild Sprint Showdown

By Inside Line Promotions BRANDON, S.D. (Jun. 15, 2025) — Lee Goos Jr. was the third-and-final leader in a thrilling 20-lap RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car main event at Huset’s Speedway. He became the sixth different winner in six races for the division this season. Zach Patterson paced the field for the first 14 laps before Trevor Serbus moved into the lead on lap 15. The three drivers of Patterson, Serbus and Goos Jr. duked it out for three straight laps of sliders and side-by-side racing with Goos Jr. edging in front on lap 17. He pulled away in the final laps to win by 1.091 seconds. It is the defending National champion’s fourth win of the season and first win at Huset’s in 2025. Serbus held off Patterson for second.

Donnohue Delivers in Traffic for Huset’s Victory

(May 25, 2025) — Brady Donnohue made a late-race pass in traffic to win the 20-lap RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car main event at Huset’s Speedway, which showcased four different leaders. Andrew Sullivan led the first two laps with Dylan Waxdahl taking over the top spot on lap three. Lee Goos Jr. used the top groove to move forward, powering into the lead on lap eight. Donnohue advanced into second place and closed on Goos Jr. once he hit traffic near the midpoint of the race. Donnohue pulled even for the lead twice before he completed the winning move on lap 18 en route to winning by 0.609 seconds. Goos Jr. finished second with Sullivan in third.

Minnesota IMCA Sprint Series returns with 10 race dates

Jenner Perfect in Sunset Modified Main

BANKS, Ore. (May 9, 2026) — Matt Jenner put together a flawless performance in the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature at Sunset Speedway Park, leading from start to finish in a clean and competitive main event. The Vancouver, Washington racer never relinquished command and kept challengers at bay throughout the contest to earn his first DeVilbiss Racing Chassis Western Region victory of the season. The best battle on the track came in the fight for second between Craig Cassell and Trevor LaBarge, with Cassell ultimately prevailing. LaBarge settled for third, while Dustin Cady crossed the stripe fourth and Jake Walters completed the top five after spending much of the race battling Kenny Miller, Cady, and his father, Greg Walters. Looft Charges From Ninth To Win Arlington Stock Car Feature

Ryan Grochow led the first two laps before Ken Tietz, who started in the second row, got around him to take over the race. By lap seven, Matthew Looft had the lead in his No. 6-7 machine after starting ninth. Behind him, there was a battle royale between Dave Moriarty, Dan Mackenthun, Curt Lund, and Trent Loverude.
