Humblet Roars at the Mountain With VSS

SHENANDOAH, Va. (Sept. 20, 2025) — Chris Humblet followed up last week’s Virginia Sprint Series win at Langley with another strong performance, this time charging to victory at Shenandoah Speedway. Humblet and Caleb Harris brought the field to green, with Humblet jumping out first and Caleb slotting into second. Third-starting Jerald Harris had a monster push that sent him up to the extreme high line while Humblet sped away out front.

Caleb held onto second until Jerald regrouped and battled back into the runner-up spot. As the laps clicked off quickly on the pavement, Aaron Leach and then Matthew Leach worked into third and fourth while Jerald searched for a groove to challenge Humblet. But there would be no stumble this night—Humblet stayed strong to the finish and flashed under the waving checkered flag ahead of Jerald Harris and Aaron Leach.

Defending champion smokes Virginia Sprint Series foes

(April 17) – The first dirt race of the year for the Virginia Sprint Series was an exciting one as defending champion Mike Leraas made his way to the front and fought off race-long challengers and a failure at the last lap but held on for the Saturday win at Natural Bridge Speedway. Matt Mullins and Chris Ware paced the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car field to green. Ware was out first with Leraas, Bill Rice and Jerald Harris giving chase. Leraas got by, leaving Rice and Harris to fight with Ware for second. Ware got high in turn two with Harris getting by Rice to go after Leraas and Rice in a solid third. A quick spinner tightened up the field after they had caught the back of the field. Leraas was off again and Harris was right on him with Rice staying tough in third. Three RaceSaver series run Saturday at Hagerstown

HAGERSTOWN, Md. – The Pennsylvania Sprint Series will join two other IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car series this Saturday night for a Father’s Day Weekend special program at Hagerstown Speedway. PASS, the host Virginia Sprint Series and the Laurel Highlands Sprint Series will vie for supremacy June 19 on the half-mile track alongside Conococheague Creek in Washington County, Md. Four weeks ago, PASS regular Dave Grube invaded a VSS/LHSS co-sanctioned race at Hagerstown and came away with the victory. An earlier RaceSaver date was rained out. In 2019, VSS stalwart Jerald Harris was a winner, along with former PASS drivers Zach Newlin and Scott Ellerman. A large field of cars is expected Saturday, including Grube and the last two IMCA RaceSaver national champions, Ken Duke and Garrett Bard. Rice rockets to Langley Virginia Sprint Series win

(July 4) – Bill Rice showed his heat race win was no fluke as he was a rocket all night en route to his first Virginia Sprint Series win of the year Saturday at Langley Speedway. Rice and Matt Mullins paced the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car field to green with Rice out first and staying low and fast. After a shuffle at the front, Daren Bolac settled into second with Mike Leraas and Jerald Harris following closely. Harris made the move to work his way to second while Mike Keeton was showing speed after a pit stop on the start and was up to fourth. Rice continued to lead as Harris closed with Leraas and Keeton next. Harris was less than a second off the pace as the white flag waved but could get no closer as Rice flashed under the checkered flag first. Jordan Page Memorial Winter Nationals Set for Oct. 2–4 at Southern Oklahoma Speedway

(Sept. 21, 2025) — The 21st annual Jordan Page Memorial Winter Nationals returns to Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore on Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 2–4, with three Speedway Motors IMCA-sanctioned divisions set to compete for impressive payouts. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds headline the action with a $2,500-to-win, $300-to-start main event. Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods chase a $1,500 payday with $200 to start, while Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars will compete for $1,000 to win and $150 to start. Drivers are encouraged to get entries in early. IMCA Stock Cars are $100 to enter until Oct. 1 at midnight, then $125 after. Southern SportMods are $125 until Oct. 1, increasing to $150 afterward. Friday, Sept. 26, brings the Davenport Dirt Stars, while Saturday, Sept. 27, the Greg Durbin Memorial comes to Davenport for the first time. Friday’s card is headlined by the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods, Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks, and Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lites. Entry fees are $30 for SportMods. Pits open at 3:30 p.m., the front gates at 4:00, the drivers meeting is set for 5:30, and hot laps begin at 6:30. Partain Steals the Show in Stock Cars at Casa Grande

By Rowdy Briggs CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (Sept. 20, 2025) — The Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars delivered the biggest fireworks at Central Arizona Raceway, where Bo Partain put on a show with a weekend sweep. On Friday, Mitchell Ferguson looked strong in the runner-up spot until disaster struck when his left rear wheel came off, opening the door for Partain to dominate. Clay Erickson finished second with Larry Brigner third, while John Parmeley completed the top four. Saturday’s feature again belonged to Partain, who checked out and never looked back. Erickson earned another runner-up finish, with Trevor Hidalgo third and Casey Murdoch fourth. Hidalgo ended the weekend as track champion, while Brigner secured the state crown.
