Tuesday Lone Star Tour show rained out

MESQUITE, Texas (Feb. 22, 2022) – The winner tonight (Tuesday) at Devil’s Bowl Speedway is bad weather.

The scheduled Sniper Speed IMCA Lone Star Stock Car at Mesquite has been rained out.

Dirty 30 Lone Star Tour show postponed to Thursday

FORT WORTH, Texas (Feb. 19) – Inclement weather is the winner this evening (Wednesday) at Texas Motor Speedway. Night two of the Dirty 30 and the fourth installment of the Sniper Speedway Lone Star IMCA Sunoco Stock Car Tour has been postponed to Thursday, Feb. 20. Stock Cars run for $3,000 to win their main event, IMCA Modifieds for $2,000 to win their Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods for $1,000 to win. The pit area will be vacated beginning at 12:45 p.m. and re-opened at 1 p.m. The draw starts at 1 p.m. and ends with the start of the 4:30 p.m. drivers’ meeting. Wheel packing is at 5 p.m., hot laps are at 5:30 p.m. and racing gets underway at 6 p.m. New cars are eligible to join the show but will start at the tail of the last-chance qualifiers. Dean Abbey dominates Dirty 30 IMCA Stock Car qualifying

FORT WORTH, Texas (Feb. 18) – The race was for second Tuesday night as Dean Abbey checked out on everybody in winning the Sniper Speed Lone Star Tour Dirty 30 qualifying feature for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars at Texas Motor Speedway. Abbey started from the pole and left a multi-car tussle battling in his wake. Chad Schroeder, Brian Blessington, Ryan Powers, Derek Green, Elijah Zevenbergen, Kyle Falck, Curt Lund, Buck Schafroth and Hesston Shaw finished in that order behind Abbey and join him on the main event grid. They’ll decide who starts where on the front five rows during the Dirt Defender Grudge draw while the rest of the 22-field for the $3,000 to win headliner is to be determined. Westin Abbey completes charge from 17th for dramatic Dirty 30 payday

FORT WORTH, Texas (Feb. 20) – Being faster by a fraction of a second coming out of the final turn made Westin Abbey rich Thursday night. Abbey raced all the way from 17th starting to the front of the Dirty 30 IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature field at Texas Motor Speedway, beating Ryan Powers to the checkers by half a car length as the pair ran side-by-side to the finish. The Comanche speedster took home $3,000 for the victory. Also winner of the Sniper Speed Lone Star Tour opener at Abilene Speedway on Saturday, he’ll meet the final requirements for a $10,000 bonus by competing in the final two tour events Friday at Monarch Motor Speedway and Saturday at Kennedale Speedway Park. “Whew! Sweigart Breaks Record with Third KRC Win At Port Royal

(Jun. 28, 2025) — “Nitro” Nick Sweigart has made no secret of his 2025 goals revolving around Port Royal Speedway, and he checked a big one off his list Saturday in the River Valley Builders PA Sprint Series Keystone RaceSaver Challenge, becoming the first driver to win the Port Royal Speedway classic three times. Sweigart, from Myerstown, led the 14th annual KRC feature nearly all the way, but a furious challenge from runner-up Christian Rumsey of New York turned the last four laps into a lead-swapping race for the ages. When the top two encountered slower traffic on lap 17, it looked like Sweigart’s lead was far too great for that factor to make any difference, but Rumsey found something that helped him slice off large chunks of the margin in the third and fourth turns, and with four to go he slipped underneath Sweigart and into the lead. Andersen Slices Through the Field for Modified Glory at Eagle

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (Jun. 28, 2025) — Chad Andersen was on a mission in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature at Eagle Raceway. Cameron Thompson led the opening circuits with Tyler Harr close behind, but all eyes were on Andersen, who steadily picked off cars one by one. He cracked the top three by lap five and slipped into second a few laps later. By lap 12, he powered around Thompson for the lead and immediately began to stretch it out. From there, Andersen hit his marks and left the rest of the field to battle behind him. Harr gave chase but never closed the gap as the laps clicked off. Berry Blazes Field in Marshalltown Modified Main Event

By Kaden Krebs MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (Jun. 27, 2025) — The nightcap proved to be a scorcher as the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds roared onto the track. Dustin Kroening sat on the pole, with Jake McBirnie to his outside. But it was Marshalltown native Tom Berry Jr. who made quick work of the field, grabbing the lead early and leaving the rest behind. Berry cruised to a dominant win in the 20-lap finale, while Kollin Hibdon and McBirnie completed the podium. The win was Berry’s third of the season, coming at three different tracks, with two scored in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Carter Slides to SportMod Supremacy Fans were treated to a slide-job clinic in the Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods.
