SEYMOUR, Wis. (Aug. 19) – J.J. Andersen went into the Sunday night IMCA Modified event at Outagamie Speedway seeking a weekend sweep but Brian Mullen had other ideas.
The winner Friday at Luxemburg Speedway and Saturday at 141 Speedway, Anderson jumped to the early lead and appeared to be well on his way to completing the 3-for-3 weekend. Mullen raced from row four into the runner-up spot on lap five.
With Andersen and Mullen both running the top groove, it looked as if that’s how they would finish but a caution on lap eight changed everything. With Mullen restarting down low, Andersen switched to the bottom of the track and allowed Mullen the preferred line up top.
Mullen took the lead, going unchallenged the remainder of the event for the win. Andersen ended in second. Tyler Wilson, Johnny Whitman and Benji LaCrosse completed the top five.
Brandon Czarapata checked out in winning the caution-free IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature while Jason Ebert was never challenged in racing to his second straight Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod victory.
Cody Booth scored his first Mach-1 Sport Compact win of the season.
By Joe Orsini SEYMOUR, Wis. (July 18, 2025) — The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event at Outagamie Speedway kicked off with Russ Reinwald jumping to the early lead, looking poised to cruise to a win. But smooth sailing wasn’t in the cards for Reinwald, as Suamico’s Johnny “The Hitman” Whitman charged from sixth to second by lap three, setting up a showdown between two seasoned veterans. A lap five caution bunched the field, and the second half of the race turned into a thrilling display of contrasting lines—Reinwald up top, Whitman glued to the tires down low. In the end, Reinwald held strong and fended off Whitman for his first victory of the season at Outagamie and in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Cody Schroeder rounded out the podium in third. By Edward Anschutz SEYMOUR, Wis. (June 23, 2023) – Dylan Waldvogel started on the pole of the Friesen Performance IMCA Northern Sport Mod feature and never looked back in racing to the checkers Friday at Outagamie Speedway. Cory Kemkes challenged Waldvogel several times but could never find a way around. Waldvogel led all 20 laps for his first win of the year. He was followed to the checkers by Kemkes, Chris Kuchta, Jordan Jahnke and Ryan Schmidt. Dan Michonski snagged the lead on lap one of the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature but it was Brett Wenzel taking to the outside of the track to grab the lead on lap two. The only real challenge to Wenzel came on restarts as Chucky Forstner hung with Wenzel at times. In the end it was Wenzel fending off the field for the win. Michonski, Forstner, Tyler WIlson and Brandon Czarapata completed the top five. Dan Roedl led the early stages of the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature while Marcus Yarie and Benji LaCrosse worked through the field [Read More]
By Edward Anschutz SEYMOUR, Wis. (July 30) – Mike Mullen took home top honors in the IMCA Modified and IMCA Sunoco Stock Car features Friday at Outagamie Speedway. Dan Roedl took command early in the Modified main as Tyler Wilson gave chase. Roedl worked the extreme high side to open up a sizable advantage over the field but a caution on nine erased that. As the green flew, Mullen slashed his way through the field, pulling even with Roedl for the lead. A dive bomb from Mullen gave him the number one spot and once there he never looked back, scoring his third feature win of the season. Wilson was second place and Roedl third. In the Stock Cars, it was Mullen jumping to the lead from his front row start. Several cautions kept the field bunched but no one could match the raw speed Mullen had as he easily cruised to victory in his G-Force Chassis. After troubles in the heat race, Brandon Czarapata rallied to place second. Brett Wenzel had a hard-fought battle to place [Read More]
