SEYMOUR, Wis. (July 15) – Brian Mullen made his move to the front on the final circuit in winning Sunday’s IMCA Modified main event at Outagamie Speedway.
An opening lap wreck in the open wheel headliner sent point leader Mike Mullen down pit lane with damage and he did not return. J.J. Andersen then led from the drop of the green until lap six when Konnor Wilinski took away the top spot.
Wilinski paced the field, running up top as Mullen worked through the pack. Mullen began to close with five to go. Mullen made his move as the white flag flew, diving under Wilinski for the lead, the win and top spot in the point standings.
Kyle Frederick collected the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car checkers and Cody Schroeder raced past Cole Mangin with four laps remaining to win the IMCA Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod feature.
Michael Brehmer came out on top in the Mach-1 Sport Compact main.
By Edward Anschutz SEYMOUR, Wis. (May 24) – Johnny Whitman led the last three laps before making his way to victory lane Friday night at Outagamie Speedway. Brekken Kleinschmidt paced the opening laps of the IMCA Modified headliner until Mark Schuenemann raced by on lap four. A series of cautions before midway kept the field bunched up. Tyler Wilson used this to his advantage, snagging the lead down low on lap 10. Whitman worked through the field to the runner-up position after starting in row six. Wilson and Whitman worked the low groove until Wilson left the door open just enough to allow Whitman to sneak by for the lead. Whitman led the remaining three laps while Wilson settled for second at the pay window. Mike Mullen rallied to place third after sliding back to last on the first lap. Josh Mroczkowski measured his margin of victory over Trent Nolan by half a car length in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car main. By Scott J. Owen SEYMOUR, Wis. (June 14, 2024) – Fantastic weather and a full pit area of 143 cars greeted fans Friday night at Outagamie Speedway. Action on the track though was hot and heavy as Johnny Whitman, Nick Buckarma, Max Oreskovich and Roland VanDeHei III secured feature wins. Buckarma’s IMCA Sunoco Stock Car win featured a last lap pass to win by .026 seconds over Chase Parker That feature was as exciting as tin foil in the microwave as Parker fended off a multitude of challengers for the majority of the race. Rod Snellenberger, Devin Snellenberger, Travis Van Straten and Buckarma continually fought right on the back bumper of Parker. Buckarma found an advantage in the highest groove of the track. On the final lap Buckarma pulled even with Parker and would score the win by an eyelash, .026 seconds, over Parker. Van Straten, Austin Jansen, and Devin Snellenberger would round out the top five. It was the first win this year for Buckarma. Cole Slezewski took the lead at the start of the Friesen Performance IMCA [Read More]

A full pit area of 132 cars signed in for night one action. IMCA feature winners on the night included Colton See, Brandon Czarapata, Konnor Wilinski, and Taylor Junk. Cole Slezewski led early in the Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod feature before giving way to See. See was soon chased by Derek Fehling. See saw his way through lapped traffic better though and was able to keep Fehling at bay. In the end it was See followed by Fehling and Jake Carpenter. The IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature was more exciting than Thor at a 2-for-1 hammer sale. Czarapata and Josh Mroczkowski dueled early with Rod Snellenberger and Mike Mullen tight behind them. Mullen soon moved to second and showed the nose of his car to Czarapata multiple times. Mullen took the lead on lap nine but it was Czarapata [Read More]
