Mullen flexes muscles at Outagamie

SEYMOUR, Wis. (July 15) – Brian Mullen made his move to the front on the final circuit in winning Sunday’s IMCA Modified main event at Outagamie Speedway.

An opening lap wreck in the open wheel headliner sent point leader Mike Mullen down pit lane with damage and he did not return. J.J. Andersen then led from the drop of the green until lap six when Konnor Wilinski took away the top spot.

Wilinski paced the field, running up top as Mullen worked through the pack. Mullen began to close with five to go. Mullen made his move as the white flag flew, diving under Wilinski for the lead, the win and top spot in the point standings.

Kyle Frederick collected the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car checkers and Cody Schroeder raced past Cole Mangin with four laps remaining to win the IMCA Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod feature.

Michael Brehmer came out on top in the Mach-1 Sport Compact main.

Mroczkowski mauls Outagamie Stock Car foes

By Joe Verdegan SEYMOUR, Wis. (May 17, 2024) – Josh Mroczkowski’s IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature win at Outagamie Speedway Friday night was beyond impressive for a couple of reasons. For starters, the Krakow racer’s margin of victory at the checkers was a mere .028 seconds. What’s more, Mroczkowski fought off a pair of former IMCA national champions to the line in the process – Pulaski drivers Rod Snellenberger and Brandon Czarapata. Mroczkowski started inside row two of the 20 lap contest and wrestled the lead away from Keegan Van Ooyen on lap four. As the laps clicked off, Snellenberger and Czarapata, who started in the fifth and sixth rows, respectively, began methodically picking off their opponents one-by-one and began to gradually reel in the Krakow Ace. A late race caution bunched up the field, and despite Snellenberger’s best efforts Mroczkowski beat Snellenberger at the line by mere inches. LaCrosse leads the way at Outagamie

(Aug. 23) – Benji LaCrosse only led one lap of the IMCA Modified feature but it was the one that paid as he snatched the victory from Andy Kleczka Friday at Outagamie Speedway powered by EWSC. Kleczka used his front row starting spot to build a huge lead early. That was erased when the caution flew just past midway. The first to challenge for the top spot was last week’s winner Wyatt Block Jr. as he worked down low and Kleczka ran the cushion. Once again Kleczka built a gap as LaCrosse took the runner-up position with three laps remaining. LaCrosse closed in but remained two car lengths behind. On the final corners, LaCrosse came in high and dove down the track to the inside of the leader as they came to the checkers. When the dust settled it was LaCrosse winning by the width of his bumper in a thriller. On the other side of the coin it was heartbreak city for Kleczka who had to settle for second. Christians captures 100th IMCA Stock Car win

(Aug. 14) – Horicon’s Jeremy Christians celebrated another milestone in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars with his 100th win Friday night at Outagamie Speedway powered by EWSC. Tyler Wendt paced the opening circuits of the Stock Car feature. Wendt locked in up top as Christians quickly worked his way to the runner-up position using the low groove and slipped by for the lead on lap four. Christians put his Victory Chassis on the cushion and pulled away from the field. A caution with three to go set up a dash to the checkers but no one had anything for Christians as he went uncontested en route to his 100th IMCA feature win. Wendt had his best run of the season to place second, Andy Kleczka rallied late to place to take third. “Fast” Eddie Muenster picked up his first IMCA Modified feature of the season. Whitman and Gustin Deliver Thursday Modified Qualifier Victories at Super Nationals

By Ben Deatherage BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 4, 2025) — Johnny Whitman of Suamico, Wisconsin, raced to victory in Friesen Performance IMCA Modified Qualifier 3 Thursday at Boone Speedway during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. The 25-lap feature advanced the top four finishers into the middle row of Saturday’s Big Dance. Whitman, an eight-time 141 Speedway champion, including this season, led from the opening lap in the Jerovetz Motorsports no. 08. He fought off repeated challenges from Minnesota’s Jacob Dahle during multiple cautions and long stretches of side-by-side racing. After a lap 17 restart, Whitman was flawless the rest of the way to seal the win. Ward and Sproul Score Wednesday Modified Qualifier Wins at Super Nationals

The 25-lap contest locked the top four finishers into the inside row of Saturday’s Big Dance. Wyoming’s Bryson Yeager jumped to the front on the opening circuit, with Ward — the 2023 Super Nationals champion and Saturday’s Prelude winner — close behind. The two battled through heavy lapped traffic by lap eight, with Ward using a slower car as a pick to wrestle the lead away on lap 13. Two late cautions gave Ward, originally from Mesa, Ariz., and now calling Harcourt, Iowa home, clear track to race to the checkers. Murty and Abbey Capture Wednesday Stock Car Qualifier Victories at Super Nationals

By Ben Deatherage BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 3, 2025) —Two-time Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s champion Dallon Murty of Chelsea, Iowa, returned to victory lane Wednesday at Boone Speedway, winning Sunoco IMCA Stock Car Qualifier 1. The 25-lap contest locked the top four finishers into the inside row of Saturday’s Big Dance. Braden Richards led the opening lap after starting fourth before cautions slowed the pace on laps six and nine. On the latter restart, Richards got sideways and collected several cars, handing the lead to Murty. The Chelsea driver stayed out front the rest of the way, though he bobbled slightly coming to the checkers. Two-time 34 Raceway Stock Car champion Jeff Mueller made a last-lap run, but Murty held him off at the line.
