Rucks Memorial Brings $1,000-to-Win Modified Showdown to Arlington on Sept. 19

ARLINGTON, Minn. (Sept. 4, 2026) — Arlington Raceway will host the Jeff Rucks Memorial for Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds on Saturday, Sept. 19, with $1,000 awaiting the winner.

The event will also give the winner eligibility to attempt to qualify for the 2027 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

Clint Hatlestad captured the Rucks Memorial victory in 2025, while Brandon Beckendorf won each of the previous three editions.

The Modifieds will use a draw/redraw format. Also in action will be Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks, Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts, Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods, RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Cars, and Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars.

Pit gates open at 2 p.m., with the grandstands opening at 4 p.m. and racing beginning at 6 p.m.

Goettl Gets Arlington Hobby Stock Victory After Wild Main

(May 23, 2026) — The Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks featured three different leaders in a wild 19-car contest before Winsted driver Mason Goettl emerged with his first B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region win of the season at Arlington Raceway after starting third. The race saw multiple incidents during the opening stages before the final 11 laps clicked off under green flag conditions. Goettl held the early lead before Cory Probst charged from 10th into contention and grabbed the top spot on lap 10. Goettl stayed within striking distance as lapped traffic came into play on the white flag lap. Probst crossed the line first in the special 18-lap race honoring Kyle Busch, but relinquished the win in post-race tech after refusing a legal claim, handing the victory to Goettl. Stien knows way to winner’s circle in Minnesota Sprint Series opener

ARLINGTON, Minn. (May 29) – Michael Stien’s latest Arlington Raceway feature win came on Saturday, opening night of the Minnesota IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Series. Nineteen cars were entered and Stien survived multiple cautions in the victory. Trevor Serbus, who had started 12th, moved up to challenge Stien but had to settle for second ahead of Neil Stevens. Justin Allen and Troy Manteufel completed the top five. Trent Loverude drove to his first local IMCA Modified win of the year ahead of Clint Hatlestad and Brandon Beckendorf. The IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature had 24 cars on the grid and three different leaders in the race. Loverude Wins Modified Thriller by Inches at Arlington

(July 26, 2025) – The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature had the fans at Arlington Raceway on the edge of their seats with five different leaders in a race packed with drama. Jason Schroeder led the opening lap, but Todd Stinehart, who started eighth, wasted no time and took over on lap two. Trent Loverude, racing with a broken foot, worked his way into the battle by lap six, trading the lead back and forth with Stinehart. Clint Hatlestad was also right there, making it a thrilling three-way contest. A caution on lap 14 flew when Wayne Govig spun and collected J.J. Reimers. On the restart, Hatlestad powered around Stinehart, setting up a showdown with Loverude. The two exchanged the top spot three different times on the final lap alone. 369 Days Later, Bolden Captures RaceSaver Nationals Crown

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (Sept. 3, 2026) — Last year’s RaceSaver Nationals was plagued by threats of poor weather. With the forecast worsening as the weekend drew closer, officials decided to run both the Friday and Saturday programs on Friday, leaving the finale for Saturday. Sadly, as the 27 Sprint Cars were on the track Saturday, a light drizzle began to fall. As the liquid sunshine became actual rain, the cars were pushed off in an attempt to save the racing surface. Mother Nature’s wrath eventually won out, and the call was made to postpone the 2025 finale until the Thursday festivities of the 2026 RaceSaver Nationals. Well, just 369 days later, the race finally took place Thursday at Eagle Raceway. Four Late Model Drivers Collect Sunoco Bonus Bucks in August

By Ben Deatherage VINTON, Iowa (Sept. 4, 2026) — Four Sunoco IMCA Late Model competitors collected Sunoco Bonus Bucks awards during August, while additional contingency prizes were awarded at sanctioned events in Iowa, Illinois, and South Dakota. The month’s Bonus Bucks action began Aug. 8 at 34 Raceway, where Andy Nezworski of Blue Grass, Iowa, captured the feature victory and the $300 Sunoco Bonus Bucks award. Tommy Elston finished second, Jake Griffin was third, Travis Denning came home fourth, and Logan Veloz completed the top five. Elston received the Wehrs Machine & Racing Products award, Griffin collected the Kevko Racing Oil Pan certificate, Denning earned the Stakt Products quarter panel award, and Curtis Glover claimed the Penske Racing Shocks certificate. Jesse Bodin received the PEM Racing gear set certificate, while Boles Motorsports earned the Justice Brothers Hard Charger Award.
