EAGLE, Neb. (Aug. 15, 2026) — Shawn Harker came from the sixth row to score his fifth Jet Racing Central Region victory of the season during Junior Fan Club Night at Eagle Raceway.

Harker started 12th in the 22-car Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature and steadily worked his way forward during an event that saw the lead change hands several times.

Clint Homan paced the opening circuits before Dustin Andersen moved past Adam Vrbka following a lap five restart and then took the lead one lap later.

Homan regained command on lap 10 before Andersen spun on the backstretch the following circuit, bringing out another caution.

Harker had worked his way into contention by then and drove underneath Homan with eight laps remaining to take the lead. Bob Zoubek followed Harker into second two laps later.

Another caution gave Zoubek a final opportunity, but Harker controlled the restart and pulled away to win by just over three seconds.

The victory was Nebraska City racer’s fifth of the season in the Jet Racing Central Region, with all five coming at Eagle Raceway.

Zoubek finished second, Vrbka was third, Homan took fourth, and Jaxon Saathoff completed the top five.

Richards Strikes on Final Lap for First Stock Car Win of 2026

Terry Richards saved his best move for the final lap of the 20-lap Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature.

Chad Andersen started outside the front row and led the opening circuit with Richards quickly moving into second. Andersen continued to set the pace through a lap six debris caution and another stoppage with five laps remaining.

The complexion of the race continued to change behind the leader. Kyle Vanover briefly advanced to second before Richards reclaimed the position, putting himself back within striking distance of Andersen.

Richards used the low line on the final lap to get underneath Andersen and complete the winning pass.

The Denton driver collected his first EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of the season.

Andersen settled for second, while Adam Vrbka charged from 13th to third and Nate Thompson finished fourth. Mason Richards completed an impressive run from 17th to fifth after transferring from the C feature to the B feature on his way to the main event.

Salzman Masters Traffic for Second Career RaceSaver Victory

Alex Salzman controlled the 25-lap RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature from the pole for his first victory of 2026.

Salzman led Nate Weiler, Cole Vanderheiden, and Tyler Hendrickson during the early going before the race’s lone caution came with 10 laps remaining.

Tyler Drueke took advantage of the restart to jump into second, but Salzman rebuilt his advantage while working through lapped traffic and drove on to the victory.

The Lincoln driver earned his second career IMCA Sprint Car feature win and first since June 28, 2025, at Eagle.

Drueke charged from ninth to second, Vanderheiden finished third, Weiler was fourth, and Gene Ackland completed the top five.

Wayman Rides the High Side to SportMod Win

Cole Wayman used a strong restart and Eagle Raceway’s high side to take command before surviving a late caution for his ninth Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMod victory of the season.

Joe Feyen led early before Wayman used the outside line to vault into the lead following a lap four caution. Wayman began building an advantage before another yellow on lap 11 regrouped the field.

Wayman remained in control as positions changed behind him, but his sizable advantage disappeared when James Hines stopped in turn four with one lap remaining.

The Lincoln driver was up to the challenge on the final restart and held on for his ninth victory of 2026 and fifth at Eagle Raceway.

Mary Hahn finished second, Noah Williams was third, Aiden Floyd took fourth, and Zane Woodman completed the top five.

Fisher Goes Flag-to-Flag for First Career Hobby Stock Victory

Brandon Fisher led from start to finish to earn his first career Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature victory.

Fisher started from the pole and survived several early cautions before beginning to separate himself from the field. Neil Pella worked forward from 10th and eventually reached second, but Fisher never surrendered the top spot.

Fisher crossed the finish line nearly three seconds ahead for his first B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region victory.

Pella finished second, Trenton Dowty was third, Eric Chab charged from 12th to fourth, and Tyler Ramsey advanced from 13th to complete the top five.
