Belcher Sweeps Weekend with Woodhull Victory

WOODHULL, N.Y. (Aug. 1, 2026) — Tyler Belcher completed a weekend sweep by winning Saturday night’s Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature at Woodhull Raceway, one night after capturing the KC Cole Memorial at Penn Can Speedway.

Belcher won the first heat race while Jay McConnell claimed the second.

Charlie Fulton and Dalton Maynard brought the field to the green for the 20-lap feature, but Belcher quickly worked forward from his fourth starting spot. Once out front, the Laceyville, Pennsylvania, driver steadily pulled away from the field to secure the victory.

The win was Belcher’s fourth of the season in the Close Racing Supply Eastern Region.

Dalton Maynard finished second, Jay McConnell completed the podium in third, Jakub Ingham was fourth, and Fulton rounded out the top five after starting on the pole.

Belcher’s victory completed a perfect weekend after his Friday night triumph in the Close Racing Supply NY/Penn IMCA Modified Series at Penn Can Speedway.

Sites wins wild one at Woodhull

(May 20, 2023) – After day-long rains, nobody expected racing to happen at the 1/3 mile Woodhull Raceway for the 2023 Close Racing Supply NY-Penn IMCA Modified Series presented by M.R. Grafix. But the persistence of the track crew in not giving up and prepping the surface meant racing did happen, and Eddie Sites won his second Friesen Performance IMCA Modified series event of the season in a wild finish. Gary Roberts and Shawn Bruce brought the field to the green for the 25-lap feature event, with Roberts spinning in turn one, collecting Sites and Rodney Morgan. Rich Michael Jr. took the lead on the restart as Bruce battled with Tyler Stoddard for third. Another rookie finds NY-Penn IMCA Modified success at Woodhull

WOODHULL, N.Y. (Sept. 28, 2024) – Dalton Maynard sold out his crate sportsman equipment and joined the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified ranks for the 2024 Close Racing Supply NY-Penn Series presented by Insinger Performance season. The New Albany, Pa., pilot struggled a bit with the change, with good runs through the season but inconsistent results, as he learned the changes needed in set up and driving style. The S&S Custom Auto Body team showed up at Woodhull Raceway determined to pull out a solidresult in the MJH Oilfield-sponsored season finale and instead of a period, Maynard’s story ended with an exclamation point. After a second place finish in his heat race put him on the inside of the second row for the main, the rookie grabbed the lead on the second lap and fought off every challenge to record his first IMCA feature win, earning $1,000 and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility as well. Rodney Morgan Rules the Bullring to Win Sean Lias Memorial at Woodhull

(July 26, 2025) — Rodney Morgan made it a weekend to remember by capturing his second win in as many nights during the 5th Annual Sean Lias Memorial Race at Woodhull Raceway. The victory marked Morgan’s second win of the current campaign in the DeVilbiss Racing Eastern Region. Seventeen Friesen Performance IMCA Modified drivers signed in for the Saturday night program at the Bullring, with the feature doubling as a points race for Woodhull regulars. Shawn Bruce and Earl Zimmer led the field to the green for the 25-lap main presented by Chasin Dreams Transport and Lubic Sales and Marketing. Zimmer led the opening three laps before Morgan made his move and powered into the top spot on lap four. The event’s rhythm was interrupted by rain on lap 13, forcing officials to halt the race while the passing shower moved through. Once racing resumed, Morgan left no doubt, holding strong to the checkers. Zimmer held on for second while Bruce crossed the line in third.

Sidles Scores First Hobby Stock Victory in Marilyn Wickman Memorial at Algona

By Greg Grabianowski ALGONA, Iowa (July 30, 2026) — Tim Sidles raced to his first Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock victory of the season Thursday night, winning the Marilyn Wickman Memorial feature at Kossuth County Speedway. Wickman, who passed away last summer, was a regular in the grandstands in Algona throughout the years watching her sons and grandsons race as five different members of the Wickman clan competed on Thursday evening. The Emmetsburg driver, Sidles, jumped into the lead from the outside front row and paced the 20-car field through a pair of early cautions before surviving a red flag with two laps remaining when Wyatt Johnson rolled along the frontstretch. Richards Rallies to Eagle Raceway Stock Car Victory

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (Aug. 1, 2026) — Dillon Richards charged from ninth starting position to capture Saturday night’s Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature at Eagle Raceway. Terry Richards led the opening six laps before Mike Lineberry took over on lap seven. Dillon Richards steadily worked his way forward, taking second with seven laps remaining before slipping past Lineberry one lap later. A late caution erased his advantage, but Richards was flawless on the restart and drove away for the victory. The Beatrice driver earned his fifth EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of the season, including his third at Eagle Raceway. Mason Richards finished second, Kyle Vanover was third, Casey Woken crossed the stripe fourth, and Mike Lineberry completed the top five.
