RaceSaver Nationals Set for Sept. 3-6 With $14,000 on the Line; 2025 Finale Makeup to Open Weekend

EAGLE, Neb. (July 27, 2026) — The 14th annual RaceSaver Nationals returns to Eagle Raceway over Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 3-6, and it’s shaping up to be another unforgettable edition. With a total purse exceeding $150,000, the weekend culminates in Sunday’s RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car championship feature, paying $14,000 to win and $1,700 to start. A dramatic 27-car, three-wide grid will once again launch into battle for one of grassroots racing’s most prestigious prizes.

RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car competitors from across the country will converge on Eagle Raceway for four days of competition and entertainment. The weekend begins Thursday with an open practice session, pre-tech inspection, and RaceJugs Race of Champions qualifying. Also on Thursday’s schedule is the completion of the postponed 2025 RaceSaver Nationals championship feature following practice.

After the on-track action, fans and teams can kick off the weekend with a DJ, karaoke contest, and the opening night of the Melon Bar.

Friday and Saturday feature complete RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car qualifying programs, with the top nine finishers from each night’s feature earning guaranteed starting positions in Sunday’s championship event. The RaceJugs Race of Champions feature will also be contested Saturday following the evening’s racing.

Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks join Friday’s card, while Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods support Saturday’s program. Both nights conclude with pit parties, live music, and the Melon Bar staying open into the early morning hours. The Assassin Speed Works Women’s Jello Wrestling Tournament returns following Saturday’s festivities.

New for 2026, fans can enjoy a daytime fishing tournament on Friday before returning to Eagle Raceway for another night of racing action.

Championship Sunday includes last-chance qualifying to determine the final nine starters in the 27-car feature before the field rolls three-wide for the traditional start of the RaceSaver Nationals finale. The feature pays $14,000 to the winner, with one of the richest purses in RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car competition on the line. Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars serve as Sunday’s support division.

Sunday’s festivities begin with a driver autograph session, cornhole tournament, and Eagle Raceway’s fan-favorite Big Dance Giveaway, where the first 3,000 fans through the front gate receive a free LED light-up wand for the pre-race ceremony. The weekend concludes with one final pit party, live music, and the last round at the Melon Bar.

Fans unable to attend can watch every lap live on IMCA TV, where America comes to watch racing.

Entries top 100 for IMCA RaceSaver Nationals at Eagle

EAGLE, Neb. (Aug. 28, 2023) – The biggest Sprint Car event in the world plays out this weekend at Eagle Raceway and promoter Roger Hadan plans lots of new stuff and making old stuff even better. Oaks soars to first win at Eagle

(May 12) – Steffen Oaks took the lead with four laps left en route to taking the first checkers of his ATV Motorsports IMCA Sport Compact career victory Saturday at Eagle Race­way. His drive to the front started outside row four. “It took me awhile to finally get a win, with several second places, but I finally got it!,” he said post-race. “It was a really fast track tonight, but man, those bumps about got me a few times. I managed to keep it straight and hold on for the win.” Casey Moyer won his first Valentino’s IMCA Hobby Stock feature since the 2012 season and Lance Borgman raced from 10th starting to win the Purdue University IMCA Northern SportMod main event for the third time already this season at Eagle. Jordan Grabouski got the lead early in winning the Runner Freight IMCA Modified feature and Tyler Drueke took charge with nine laps remaining in winning the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature.

Vanderheiden sprints to first Eagle win

(July 13, 2024) – Young fans got a chance to add some heft to their piggy banks with the $1,500 money grab on the front stretch sponsored by One Shot Auto Repair but the big winner Saturday night at Eagle Raceway was Cole Vanderheiden. Vanderheiden won for the first time in his career at America’s Home Track, snagging the lead on a mid-race restart and denying Trevor Grossenbacher’s mad slide job attempt in the final turn for the $1,300 IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car checkers. “It’s been a long time coming. Over the past three years we’ve been second, had thirds and fourths all year.
