EAGLE, Neb. (June 6, 2026) — The RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Cars kicked off the feature action during the Battle of the High Banks at Eagle Raceway and delivered one of the most eventful races of the evening.
Cameron Thompson paced the early circuits before multiple cautions and red flags reshuffled the field. Brad Schreiner flipped on lap two after bicycling over the cushion, while Shayle Bade suffered a spectacular rollover on lap nine. Both drivers were uninjured.
Billy Alley steadily worked forward from his eighth starting position and grabbed the lead from Thompson on lap 12. Cole Wayman followed Alley through the field after starting 11th and climbed into second with 11 laps remaining.
A pair of late cautions kept the pressure on the leaders, but Alley remained composed and held off the challengers to earn his first victory of the season. The Bennett driver was followed by Wayman, Joey Danley, and Tyler Hendrickson. Adam Gullion completed the top five.
Vanover Charges to Stock Car Win
The Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars produced another wild feature that included several cautions and a dramatic multi-car incident.
R.J. Macku led the opening stages before Kyle Vanover began slicing through traffic from the ninth starting position. A pileup on a restart midway through the race reshuffled the running order and opened the door for several drivers.
Vanover surged to the lead with eight laps remaining and maintained the advantage the rest of the way.
The Beatrice driver earned his fifth EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of the season and second win of the year at Eagle Raceway.
Casey Woken turned in an impressive drive from 18th to finish second, narrowly edging Macku at the stripe. Adam Vrbka crossed the line fourth while Benji Legg rallied from 14th to complete the top five.
Pella Rallies from 14th for Hobby Stock Triumph
The Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks featured plenty of passing throughout the field.
Matt Rotschafer and Dave Carter controlled the early stages before Tyler Ramsey moved to the front. Neil Pella steadily worked his way through traffic from the seventh row and entered contention before the midway point.
Pella took command with seven laps remaining and drove away for the victory.
The Adams driver recorded his third B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region win of the season, with all three triumphs coming at Eagle Raceway.
Ramsey finished second while Colin Hein charged from 16th to third. Kenny Roberts crossed the stripe fourth and Eric Chab completed the top five.
Andersen Breaks Through for First Modified Victory of Season
The Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature saw numerous lead changes and cautions before Dustin Andersen emerged victorious.
Knox Bivens paced the early circuits before Clint Homan took command on a restart. Andersen, who started 11th, steadily worked his way forward and reached second place with nine laps remaining.
Two laps later the Omaha driver powered around Homan for the lead and maintained control through multiple late-race restarts.
The victory was Andersen’s first Jet Racing Central Region triumph of the season.
Mike Densberger delivered one of the night’s best drives, charging from 18th to second. Hunter Weber finished third, followed by Homan and Bivens.
Armstrong Earns First SportMod Victory of 2026
The Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods rounded out the list of feature winners with Adam Armstrong earning a breakthrough victory.
Dave Cook and James Hines battled for the lead during the opening laps before Armstrong worked his way forward from the 12th starting position.
Armstrong grabbed the lead on lap nine and never relinquished it despite several late-race cautions.
The Beatrice driver collected his first victory of the season.
Cole Wayman capped an excellent evening by advancing from 15th to second. Hines finished third, Aiden Floyd climbed from 11th to fourth, and McLain Reed rounded out the top five.
