Tyler Dominates Sumter for First Carolina Sprint Tour Victory

SUMTER, S.C. (July 11, 2026) — Robert Tyler turned a front-row starting spot into a breakthrough victory Saturday night, leading all 25 laps to earn his first career Carolina Sprint Tour presented by GSR Chassis triumph at Sumter Speedway.

After advancing into the redraw with a runner-up finish in his heat race, Tyler, of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, lined up alongside Jake McLain for the start of the feature. McLain found speed around the cushion on the opening lap, but Tyler powered ahead on the bottom groove entering turn three to secure the lead.

Once out front, Tyler delivered a flawless drive. He expertly worked through lapped traffic while never allowing McLain or the rest of the field to mount a serious challenge.

The victory continued a breakout summer for Tyler, who recently earned his first career Sprint Car win with the Virginia Sprint Series.

McLain finished second, while George Loux completed the podium in third. Josh Shantz crossed the line fourth, and hometown driver Derrek Treece rounded out the top five.

(May 16, 2025) — The Carolina Sprint Tour presented by GSR Chassis brought high horsepower and heart-pounding action to the red clay of Carolina Speedway on Friday night. With temperatures hovering at a warm 86 degrees, the atmosphere was electric, and the fans were treated to a wild night of sprint car racing that saw Nick Tucker of Spanaway, Washington, take the win in dramatic fashion. After the redraw, Jeff Oliver started from the pole position alongside Josh Shantz. The initial green flag didn’t last long, as Gareth Palmer spun in turn one, prompting a complete restart. Jadan Bowling Dominates in Sprint Car Return to the Gap

(May 10, 2025) — For the first time ever, the Carolina Sprint Tour made its way to the famed high banks of Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap— and Sprint Cars returned to the track for the first time in nearly four years and featured a strong 16 car field of RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Cars. After the redraw, Derrek Treece started from the pole position and led the field to green for 25 laps. But at the drop of the green, Treece had a sluggish start, allowing George Loux to shoot to the lead. On lap 8, Biscuit Williams came to a stop, bringing out the race’s lone caution. Oliver Returns to Winning at Beckley Motor Speedway

(May 24, 2025) — Jeff Oliver from Pendergrass, Georgia, ended a nearly year-long winless streak with a hard-earned victory in Saturday’s Carolina Sprint Tour presented by GSR Chassis main event at Beckley Motor Speedway. The co-sanctioned show with the Ohio Thunder Sprint Car Series brought 19 RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car teams to the West Virginia high banks for a chilly but action-packed night. Oliver, who last visited victory lane in June of 2023, charged to the front after a lap 15 tangle between early front-runners Cale Cozad and Jadan Bowling reshuffled the order. The incident opened the door for Oliver, who grabbed the lead on the ensuing restart and never looked back. Wyatt Justice led early from the pole and looked poised for his first career series win before Oliver made the decisive move. Justice settled for second, fending off a strong late effort from Jeff Weaver, who completed the podium in third. The win was the 20th of Oliver’s Carolina Sprint Tour career.

Shryock Rallies Late to Win Hobo Hustle Stock Car Shootout at Britt

By Chad Meyer BRITT, Iowa (July 10, 2026) — Despite more than four inches of rain falling at Hancock County Speedway just two nights earlier, a tremendous effort by the track crew and fair board had the racing surface ready for Friday night’s Hobo Hustle Stock Car Shootout, sponsored by Nutrien Ag Solutions and J & K Mathas Farms. In the Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, Colby Fett made it three-wide on the opening laps to take the lead and quickly pulled away from the field. A caution just past the halfway point erased his advantage and brought Kelly Shryock into contention. Shryock applied heavy pressure once the race resumed before driving past Fett in the closing laps to score his third consecutive Britt Stock Car victory. Johnson Charges to First Jackson Win of 2026

(July 9, 2026) — Matt Johnson powered to his first Jackson Motorplex victory of the season Thursday night, taking command on lap seven and pulling away to win the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature during Round 3 of the Heiman Fire Equipment Mayhem Summer Series. Johnson, of St. Peter, started second and quickly settled into contention behind early leader Hunter Hanson. After Hanson paced the opening six laps, Johnson made the winning move on lap seven and steadily built his advantage. When the checkered flag waved after 20 laps, Johnson held a commanding 2.889-second margin over Trevor Serbus, who charged from seventh to second. Mass Masters Modified .38 Special at Black Hills

(July 10, 2026) — Eric Mass put together another dominant performance Friday night, leading every lap of the $1,000-to-win IMCA .38 Special for Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds at Black Hills Speedway to earn his eighth Razor Chassis North Central Region victory of the season. Mass, of Rapid City, started on the pole alongside Eddie Kirchoff and immediately established command of the 15-lap feature. Despite one caution slowing the event, Mass never relinquished the lead and cruised to the victory. All eight of his victories have come at Black Hills Speedway. The special event also served as a qualifier for the Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.
