Tyler Dominates Sumter for First Carolina Sprint Tour Victory

(July 11, 2026) — Robert Tyler turned a front-row starting spot into a breakthrough victory Saturday night, leading all 25 laps to earn his first career Carolina Sprint Tour presented by GSR Chassis triumph at Sumter Speedway. After advancing into the redraw with a runner-up finish in his heat race, Tyler, of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, lined up alongside Jake McLain for the start of the feature. McLain found speed around the cushion on the opening lap, but Tyler powered ahead on the bottom groove entering turn three to secure the lead. Once out front, Tyler delivered a flawless drive. He expertly worked through lapped traffic while never allowing McLain or the rest of the field to mount a serious challenge. The victory continued a breakout summer for Tyler, who recently earned his first career Sprint Car win with the Virginia Sprint Series. Smyre Captures Victory at Sumter in Carolina Sprint Tour Action

Despite earlier rain showers, fans packed into the brand-new grandstands — and were rewarded with an unforgettable night of RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car action. Following a redraw of the top nine qualifiers, it was Greg Smyre and John Frutchey leading the 25-lap, $1,000-to-win feature event to green. After a false start, Frutchey quickly grabbed the lead and looked poised for his first career Carolina Sprint Tour victory. However, on lap 19, heartbreak struck as Frutchey slowed with engine issues, surrendering the lead to Smyre. Gregory Scores First Career Sprint Car Victory at Huset’s

(July 19, 2026) — Gavin Gregory broke through for the biggest win of his young career Sunday night, leading every lap of the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature at Huset’s Speedway to earn his first career sprint car victory. The Luverne, Minnesota, driver was in command throughout the 20-lap main event, building an advantage of more than five seconds before crossing the finish line with a 3.755-second margin of victory. Lee Goos Jr. put together the night’s biggest charge, advancing from 13th to finish second to earn hard charger honors. Mason Slendy completed the podium in third, while Jared Jansen finished fourth. Aydin Lloyd also made an impressive drive through the field, advancing from 12th to round out the top five. Sachau Charges from 16th to SportMod Victory on Salute to Veterans Tour Opener

Leaper Earns First Career MASS Victory at Middleford

(July 17, 2026) — Dan Leaper of Douglassville, Pa., captured his first career DCB Plumbing & Heating Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series presented by Capitol Renegade victory Friday night during the series’ inaugural visit to Middleford Speedway. Leaper took advantage of selecting the pole position in the Tanner Bros. Dairy Store redraw and led all 25 laps of the $1,000-to-win feature sponsored by Betts Garage Towing and Hauling. Leaper shared the Capitol Custom Trailers front row with Robbie Stillwaggon, who had edged him in the opening heat race.
