SHOW LOW, Ariz. (June 27, 2026) — Steve Bitting Jr. led all 50 laps to capture the $2,000 Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature Saturday night during the Budweiser 150 Freedom Nationals at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway. The purse was increased because of the outstanding car count.

The Phoenix driver earned his third B&B Racing Chassis Southern Region victory of the season, with two of those wins coming at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway.

Anthony Madrid, who earned the pole by winning the dash, pressured Bitting throughout the race while fending off challenges from Jason Duggins, Kyler Duggins and Hunter Ferrell.

Late-race contact shuffled the running order as Kyler Duggins was sent to the rear following a restart. Shortly afterward, Ferrell spun, collecting Wesson Edwards-Miller, whose car rolled after bouncing off the outside wall.

Bitting maintained control through the late restarts to secure the victory ahead of Madrid, Jason Duggins, Joe Peterson and Charles McDaniel Jr.

Winemiller Claims $1,500 SportMod Prize

Eric Winemiller took command just past the midway point and drove away to win the Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMod feature.

The Casa Grande driver earned his seventh victory of the season, including his second at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway in 2026.

Braydon Whitfield earned the pole by winning the dash and led the opening 20 laps before Winemiller found his way to the front. Anthony Madrid mounted a late charge after Ty Weidner slipped high on a restart, but Winemiller remained untouchable over the final circuits.

Madrid finished second, Whitfield settled for third, rookie Aiden Johnson impressed with a fourth-place run, and Rex Hasley completed the top five.

Moseley Dominates Modified Main

Rob Moseley controlled the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature from start to finish after winning the dash and leading every lap of the 50-lap main event.

The Los Lunas, New Mexico, driver earned his third DeVilbiss Racing Chassis Western Region victory of the season, with two coming at the Show Low track.

The race was a Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational qualifier. Moseley earned eligibility to attempt to qualify for the race during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September.

The race was slowed on lap 35 when Lukas Tellez, who had been running fifth, flipped violently down the backstretch. Moseley was never challenged after the restart, crossing the finish line more than four seconds ahead of Jonathan Mawhinney.

Josh Cain completed the podium, while Dann Perry III advanced from 13th to fourth, and Brady Gladd rounded out the top five.

Cain Completes Stock Car Sweep

Josh Cain completed a weekend sweep of the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car features after taking the lead just before the midway point of Saturday’s 20-lap finale.

The Rio Rancho, New Mexico, driver collected his second EQ Cylinder Heads Southern Region victory of the season, with both wins coming during Freedom Nationals at Show Low.

Scott Bernards led the opening laps before Cain raced into the lead and controlled the remainder of the feature.

Bernards finished second, followed by Speedy Madrid, Mark Madrid Jr., and Grady Clements.

Cain also won Friday night’s feature after regaining the lead from Speedy Madrid just before halfway. Madrid held off Grady Clements for second, while Mark Madrid Jr. and Nic Savaglio completed the top five.
