COLBY, Kan. (June 19, 2026) — Kyle Rohleder put together a flawless night in the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified division at Thomas County Speedway, leading every lap of the feature after winning his heat race earlier in the evening.
Starting alongside Tanner Clough on the front row, the WaKeeney driver immediately surged to the lead and never looked back. Rohleder quickly built a comfortable advantage over Eddie Belec and fellow WaKeeney racer Dylan Sherfick, stretching his lead to nearly half a straightaway during the caution-free contest.
In complete control from start to finish, Rohleder scored his second Jet Racing Central Region victory of the season, with both wins coming at Thomas County Speedway. Belec finished second, followed by Sherfick, Clay Money and Brandon Clough. Belec earned hard charger honors after advancing two positions.
Walt Captures Another One in SportMods
Blaine Walt collected his third victory of the season in the Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods and his second straight at Thomas County Speedway.
Jasen Gray appeared poised for victory after leading much of the 20-lap feature, but Walt methodically worked his way forward from deeper in the field. A pair of cautions allowed the veteran driver to close the gap, and after several spirited exchanges for the lead in the closing laps, Walt completed the winning pass late in the race.
Gray settled for second, with Dylan Cherry charging from seventh to third. Brian Conness and Douglas Beaman completed the top five. Walt and Cherry shared hard charger honors after each gained seven positions.
Yutterman Flies To Stock Car Glory
Johnny Yutterman overcame an early setback to score his third EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of the season in Sunoco IMCA Stock Car action.
After slipping backward while battling for the lead in the opening laps, Yutterman regrouped and found momentum on the high side of the speedway. He charged back through the field and took the lead away from Kolby Stegman in the closing stages of the 15-lap feature.
Stegman finished second ahead of Quinton Yutterman, Wheat Lippelman and Cody Williams, who completed an impressive Stock Car debut. Lippelman earned hard charger honors with a four-position advance.
Olmstead Holds Strong in Hobby Stocks
Zach Olmstead captured his seventh B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region victory of the season in Hobby Stock competition.
Following a wild feature that saw several lead changes and a rollover involving Kelly Yutterman, Olmstead emerged from a fierce battle among the front runners to take control late. Trent Matson closed to Olmstead’s rear bumper in the final laps but was unable to complete a pass.
Olmstead took the checkered flag ahead of Matson, Mitchell Fischer, Levi Jones and Billy Phelps. Phelps earned hard charger honors after advancing 13 positions.
