MINOT, N.D. (June 7, 2026) — Keenan Glasser capped off a remarkable week by winning the Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMod feature on the final night of the 2026 T&A Tong and Indicator Tougher Than Dirt Tour presented by Schatz Storage at Nodak Speedway.

Reigning track champion Chad Stratchen emerged from a three-wide battle on the opening lap with the lead and quickly settled into a duel with Glasser. The pair separated themselves from the field before a caution on lap seven erased their advantage.

Lapped traffic came into play on lap 13, and Glasser stayed glued to Stratchen’s rear bumper while searching for an opening. The 2024 North Dakota State champion finally found one on lap 19, completing the pass for the lead just before a caution slowed the pace.

The 18-year-old from Estevan, Saskatchewan was flawless on the restart and pulled away to earn his fourth victory of the week and eighth overall triumph of the season. Four of those wins have come at Nodak Speedway. The victory also tied Gabriel Deschamp’s 2024 record for most wins in a single Tougher Than Dirt Tour SportMod campaign.

Seventeen-year-old Payce Herrera, the 2024 Junior National champion from Price, Utah, finished second and secured his first career tour championship. Stratchen completed the podium in third, while defending series champion Leevi Runge finished fourth. 2018 McLean County Speedway champion Stan Tomlinson rounded out the top five.

Dirk Miller earned hard charger honors after advancing from 21st to 13th.

Appelt Stays Perfect at Nodak; Raynard Claims Tour Crown

Kaden Appelt continued his mastery of Nodak Speedway in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks, capturing his first victory of the week and third career Tougher Than Dirt Tour triumph.

Five-time reigning North Dakota State champion and four-time defending Nodak Speedway track champion Kyler Satran grabbed the early lead before Appelt began applying pressure following a lap five caution.

The 2024 McLean County Speedway champion pulled alongside Satran several laps after the restart and edged ahead by just .022 seconds at the stripe to take command. Another caution on lap nine brought the field back together, but Appelt quickly rebuilt his advantage.

Despite encountering lapped traffic in the closing laps, the Minot driver remained in complete control and scored his fifth win in five B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region starts this season, all at Nodak.

Sixteen-year-old Cash Saxon finished second. Satran crossed the line third, while 17-year-old Sage Borud and 16-year-old Brody Beeter completed the top five. Lampman, Saskatchewan native Diezel Raynard’s sixth-place finish was enough to clinch his second straight tour championship.

Brian Tvedt earned hard charger honors after advancing from 22nd to 12th.

Scheresky Breaks Through for First Win of Season

Will Scheresky collected his first EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of the season in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars.

Six-time North Dakota State champion Joren Boyce led the opening lap before Scheresky, a three-time defending Nodak Speedway track champion, took over the top spot on lap two.

As Scheresky stretched his advantage, Boyce and defending Estevan Motor Speedway champion Kyle Scholpp engaged in a prolonged battle for second. Boyce eventually secured the position and began reeling in the leader before a caution on lap 11 halted his momentum.

Scheresky was untouchable after the restart and drove away for the victory.

Reigning North Dakota State champion Brennor Grinstead finished second. Boyce completed the podium in third, followed by three-time Tougher Than Dirt Tour champion Brock Beeter in fourth. Connor Hanson, the 2024 Estevan Motor Speedway Hobby Stock champion, rounded out the top five.

Saskatchewan’s Gary Goudy Jr. earned hard charger honors after advancing from 12th to sixth.
