B & B All-Star eligible list adds eight

VINTON, Iowa (July 14, 2023) – Another 15 IMCA Sunoco Stock Car drivers have secured eligibility for B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying. Those doing so by winning weekly sanctioned events paying $750 and upwards were Steffan Carey, Tommy Fain, Dalton Flory, Miciah Hidlebaugh, Dillon Lawrence and Nick Strobbe. Winners on the Midwest Madness Tour were Jeffrey Larson, Justin Luinenburg, Tim Rupp and Jake Sachau. Justin Erickson and Luke Silber had first place finishes at Freedom Nationals. Will Scheresky topped Nodak Speedway’s Too Dark Fireworks special and Rob VanVil and Brendon LaBatte claimed IMCA.TV Dakota Classic Tour triumphs. Mike Nichols and Cody Smith raced to guaranteed starting spots with Tanner Pelster Memorial and Baby Blue Harcrow victories, respectively. BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 31, 2022) – A dozen championship-winning Modified drivers will battle side-by-side and bumper-to-bumper in the Harris Auto Racing Race of Champions at Boone Speedway during the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  Harris, the Boone chassis builder, has been title sponsor of the event for 16 years and provides a portion of the purse to be paid for the $1,000 to win race pn Saturday, Sept. 10.  Qualifying for the 12-car, 12-lap, race is Thursday, Sept. 8 and is open to top drivers in local track standings competing at Super Nationals, as well as 2022 track champions, former national, regional and Super Nationals champions, and to previous race winners.  Two hundred and sixteen different drivers from 26 states and Canada have competed in the Modified Race of Champions since it became part of Super Nationals in 1989. Two drivers picked up their first season wins as Tyler Pickett took the checkers in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Dustin Filloon went to victory lane for the first time when he won the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock feature.  Jake McBirnie won the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event, Brayton Carter took the honors in the Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods and Bryan Zehm was the winner of the Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lites.  Feature racing kicked off with the 15-lap Mod Lite main.
