WaKEENEY, Kan. – A memorial service for John Fose, IMCA Stock Car national champion in 1990, will be held Saturday, Dec. 23 at 10:30 a.m. at the Schmitt Funeral Home in his hometown of WaKeeney, Kan.
Fose died Wednesday at the age of 67.
If attending the memorial service, the family requests you wear anything racing, wrestling, or football-related. Friends and well-wishers are invited to share their memories and words of support by writing in the guest book, ensuring that John’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the WaKeeney Wrestling Club. Contributions can be sent to Schmitt Funeral Home at 336 North 12th Street in WaKeeney, 67672.
Fose won 75 features and 15 track championships during his Stock Car career with IMCA. He also won four IMCA Modified features.
