IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars chase All-Star eligibility Saturday at 34

WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa (April 13, 2023) – IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars join both Slocum Memorial programs this weekend at 34 Raceway. Winners of both Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15 features for the Class Too Tough To Tame earn $755 and B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility, along with IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region and Iowa State points.  Pit gates open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4 p.m. both days with hot laps at 6 p.m. with racing at 7:15 p.m. More information is available on Facebook.

WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa (April 11, 2024) – Friesen Performance IMCA Modified and IMCA Sunoco Stock Car drivers in the Southeast Iowa area can now race every week for All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility. They can load up their cars and head to 34 Raceway already knowing that every night they race at the West Burlington oval, they’ll be in the running to become eligible for their respective, prestigious events. “Any time Modifieds race at 34 this season, they’ll be racing for $1,000 to win and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational eligibility. Any time Stock Cars race here, they’ll race for $750 to win and B & B Racing Chassis All-Star eligibility,” explained Promoter Brad Stevens. “That’s due to local sponsors stepping up on behalf of drivers in both divisions.” The first $1,000 to win feature for the Modifieds is this Saturday, April 13 during the Sprint Invaders show. WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa (July 3) – It had been a few years since his last trip to West Burling­ton, so Ryan Dolan relied on Mapquest to get to town. Once he got to 34 Raceway and got some early evening brake issues figured out, he didn’t need any help getting around the track. Dolan led all 50 laps of the Tuesday night Deery Brothers Summer Series main event at 34. The feature ran green to checkered and Dolan pocketed $2,000 for his career third IMCA Late Model tour win. “It was a classic and a sweet victory for the Rick Dralle team,” Dolan said following the tour’s 50th visit to the West Burlington oval. “It was an exciting track to race on – it just suits my driving style.
