MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (April 4, 2023) – Frostbuster action for four IMCA divisions gets the 2023 season started this week at Marshalltown Speedway and Boone Speedway.
Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $750 to win Thursday, April 6 and Friday, April 7 at Marshalltown, and Saturday, April 8 at Boone.
Feature winners all three nights become eligible to qualify for Fast Shafts or B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitationals. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod features each night pay $500 to win.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Iowa State points will be awarded.
Pit gates open at 4:30 p.m. and the front gate opens at 5:30 p.m. both days at Marshalltown, hot laps start and the draw closes at 6:45 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m.
And at Boone, pits open at 2 p.m., the grandstand opens at 3 p.m., hot laps are at 4 p.m. and racing is at 5 p.m.
Pit passes are $35 for adults. Marshalltown charges $20 for kids ages 3-15.
Spectator admission all three nights is $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and veterans. Admission at Marshalltown is $10 for students ages 11-17, $10 at Boone for students 13-17, and free for kids accompanying a paying adult at both tracks.

Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts also run for $500 to win on Friday. The Tuesday night practice session at Marshalltown has been cancelled due to the forecast for unseasonable weather.
