Super Nationals Modified, Hobby Stock, SportMod champions get crate engines from Karl Companies

BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 31, 2022) – The Karl Companies help shine the Saturday night spotlight on drivers winning three of IMCA’s most prestigious championships. 

Karl Kustoms and Karl Chevrolet present a new GM 604 crate engine to the Modified champion and new GM 602 crate engines to both Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod champions crowned Sept. 10 during the 40 annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super ls fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway.

“It’s cool to be able to award crate engines to the champions of these three divisions,” said Marketing Director Clint Quesinberry, noting the Karl Companies’ long partnership with General Motors in making the championship night presentation possible. ”Drivers go through a lot during the week to accomplish this.”

“It’s a pretty big feat.” 

This is the 24th sponsorship season for Karl Chevrolet, the Midwest’s number one Chevrolet and GM Certified Dealer, and Karl Kustoms, the Midwest’s high performance parts manufacturer and distributor designated as the Preferred Engine Supplier of IMCA Racing. 

“The Karl Companies continue to be among the longest tenured supporters of IMCA and IMCA drivers,” said Carson Becker-Gramm, marketing integration and sponsorship director for the sanctioning body. “The crate engines presented Saturday night at Super Nationals continue to be among the most sought after awards in all of motorsports.”

Engines powering Super Nationals Modified, Stock Car, Hobby Stock and SportMod champions are claimed by IMCA, with proceeds from the auction that follows the Saturday race program divided equally among the other drivers qualifying for those respective events.

$8,000 in cash bonuses, lap money added to purse for Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – Drivers competing at the 39th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s take home more than $8,000 in cash bonuses and lap money. Local businesses and IMCA sponsors have anted up bonuses and lap money to be paid during the Sept. 6-11 Super Nationals at Boone Speedway, guaranteed to be the biggest and richest dirt track event of the season.      Quick Performance gives $100 bonuses to the winners of three qualifying features for Hobby Stocks, three qualifying features for Northern SportMods and six Stock Car qualifying features. Utah Boys’ Trip bringing Lawrence to Boone for America’s Racin’ Vacation

SANDY, Utah – The next great adventure in what’s already been a great season takes Dillion Lawrence to the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. The 39th annual running of America’s Racin’ Vacation will do double duty as a Utah Boys’ Trip for Lawrence and IMCA Sunoco Stock Car cohorts Levi Card and Beau Hutchison.  “When registration opened, my wife Sonja told me to just do it.
