Hyperco continues IMCA dedication for 25th season with special events awards

PONTOTOC, Miss. (June 9, 2022) – Hyperco marks a quarter-century of support for IMCA drivers, renewing an awards program for special events competitors in seven divisions.

Second, third and fourth-place finishers at 80 designated specials for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Late Models, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, IMCA STARS Mod Lites, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods and Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods all receive coil springs from the high performance suspension components manufacturer.

“We are a motorsports dedicated brand. All we do is work with racers,” said Motorsports and Performance Aftermarket Manager Justin Cockerham. “We are the sole supplier to the NASCAR Cup Series and recently won our 58th consecutive Indianapolis 500, and have the same dedication to IMCA drivers and tracks. We utilize the same technology to make springs for IMCA drivers that we do for NASCAR.”

Part of the MW Components family of companies, Hyperco has manufacturing facilities in Pontotoc, Miss., Logansport, Ind., and, as of last summer, Greer, S.C.

“Greer is a state of the art facility. We have added new parts to our product line,” Cockerham explained. “It’s been a huge addition to our resources to help racers while making MW Components the largest spring manufacturer in the world.”

Certificates for springs will be mailed to drivers after official results from designated specials are received at the home office.

Hyperco also gives a pair of coil springs to two designated place finishers in Modified, Late Model, Stock Car, Hobby Stock, Northern SportMod and Mod Lite main events at the 40th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

All award recipients will be able to use the all-new  www.hypercoils.com website to learn more about the Hyperco-made springs they’ll be receiving and racing with.

“For our thousands of racers across the country, we can now bring more information and resources to their fingertips along with the ability to redeem certificates,” Cockerham said. “It allows us to engage with and educate racers, and get them the parts they need.”

Information about Hyperco high performance products and dealer network is also available by calling 800 365-2645 or 662 488-4567, on Twitter and on Facebook.

“While our partnership with Hyperco has been a constant for 25 years, it has also evolved to reward a growing number of drivers in more divisions,” observed IMCA Marketing Integration and Sponsorship Director Carson Becker-Gramm, “most notably with the additions of Late Models and then STARS Mod Lites to the program each of the last two years.”
