US 36 Raceway hosts Oct. 8, 9 IMCA Missouri Nationals

OSBORN, Mo. – US 36 Raceway presents the IMCA Missouri Nationals Friday and Saturday, Oct. 8-9, with a $50,000 combined payout.

IMCA Modifieds and IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars both race for $2,000 to win and a minimum of $200 to start, with the Modified winner becoming eligible to qualify for the 2022 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational.

IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $2,000 to win, a minimum of $100 to start and B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility. Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods chase a top check of $1,500 with a minimum of $90 to start.

The top 12 cars from Friday qualifying are locked into the Saturday show and there will also be a payout for that night. All payouts are based on a minimum of 24 cars per division. Entry fee in all four divisions is $35 if paid by Oct. 6 or $70 after that date. Entry fee is 100 percent refundable if the event would weather out. 

An open practice session is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 7 with free grandstand admission that evening, pit passes are $25. Friday general admission is $15 and Saturday is $20 with kids ages 7 to 12 $5 and six years of age and younger free. 

Pit passes are $35. 

Camping is free for those that wish to spend the weekend and a short worship service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the grandstands

Burnett is best at US 36

By Rick Staley OSBORN, Mo. (June 15) – Casey Burnett proved the fastest of 20 entries in Friday’s Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod feature at US 36 Raceway. Burnett battled side-by-side with Matt lent for the front spot before edging ahead. Lent ended at the runner-up and third was Chris Wright. Chad Clancy picked up his second local IMCA Modified win of the season, holding off Shadren Turner for the checkers. Brad Whitney led every lap of the caution-free IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature and Ty­ler Drueke topped the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car main event.

Modified Madness on Memorial Weekend at U.S. 36 Raceway

OSBORN, Mo. – Modified Madness is set for Friday, May 22 at U.S. 36 Raceway and the three IMCA divisions running have an increased payout for this special event.  IMCA Modifieds headline the program, along with the Wayne Hicks Memorial Shootout for the Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars.  Modifieds are racing for $1,066 to win and $125 to start their Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. The Wayne Hicks Memorial Shootout pays $1,066 to win and $100 start. To add to the fun, the Sprint Cars are racing for $750 to win and $150 to start.  As drivers prepare for race day, they will hit a track that has seen some change over the last week. IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars to headline U.S. 36 show on Friday

OSBORN, Mo. – This Friday, Aug. 7, the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars headline a big night of racing at U.S. 36 Raceway with a $1,200 to win and $250 to start show. Along with the Sprint Cars, the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods are also racing. Sprint Cars will run under the draw and redraw format.  Stock Cars are also running the Shocker Chassis Six Pack Shootout. Six drivers will be voted into the exciting bracket style event, which will be run at the end of the night.
