$8,000 in cash bonuses, lap money added to purse for Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – Drivers competing at the 39th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s take home more than $8,000 in cash bonuses and lap money.

Local businesses and IMCA sponsors have anted up bonuses and lap money to be paid during the Sept. 6-11 Super Nationals at Boone Speedway, guaranteed to be the biggest and richest dirt track event of the season.     

Quick Performance gives $100 bonuses to the winners of three qualifying features for Hobby Stocks, three qualifying features for Northern SportMods and six Stock Car qualifying features.

Each of the six drivers winning Modified qualifying features receive $100 cash bonuses from VIP Medical Concierge and Dr. Robert Baker.

The final qualifiers for both Modified and Northern SportMod main events get $250 cash bonuses from Saint’s Avenue Café. Final qualifiers for Stock Car and Hobby Stock mains receive $100 from Methanol Moonshine.    

Elmquist Towing pays $25 to the leader of each of the 30 laps in Thursday’s B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational for Stock Cars and Friday’s Fast Shafts All-Star Invita­tional for Modifieds.

More money is at stake in each of the race of champions events on Saturday, Sept. 11.

One hundred dollars goes to the leader of each of the 12 laps in Saturday’s Harris Auto Racing Race of Champi­ons for Modifieds and $50 to the leader each of 12 laps in the BSB Northern SportMod Race of Champions courtesy of Intensi­tee, Cookie’s Sauce & Seasoning, Walmart, Baymont Inn & Suites, Joe Busch Ag Repair, Ames Ford Lin­coln, Hy-Vee, VisionBank of Boone, Dreamscape Homebuilders of Des Moines, Ramsey Subaru, Ramsey Mazda and eBay Motors.

Leading the Sunoco Race Fuels Race of Champions for Stock Cars will pay $75 for each of 12 circuits, courtesy of Golden Empire Towing.

Big Daddy Race Cars gives $50 in cash to the driver scored first at the stripe in each of the 12 laps in the Stephenville Starter Hobby Stock Race of Champions.

Karl Kustoms bonuses of $250, $150 and $100 go to the top three Modified, Northern SportMod and Hobby Stock finishers with crate engines.

And Yoshimura bonuses of $250, $150 and $100 go to the top three finishing IMCA STARS Mod Lites.
