Captain of the Creek winner sails to $10,000 Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod payday

FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. – The winner of 141 Speedway’s Thursday night Captain of the Creek feature for Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods sails away with $10,000.

Drivers can pre-register for the Aug. 18-19 special at Francis Creek for $115 using the https://www.myracepass.com/tracks/3061/registrations/4354 link; entry fee is $120 on Wednesday. Top 10 drivers in points after qualifying on Wednesday will redraw for position on Thursday. 

Gates open at 3 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. both Aug. 18 and 19. Pit passes are $30 both days.

IMCA Modifieds race for $750 to win and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $250 to win on Wednesday. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars race for $500 to win on Thursday.

Grandstand admission on Wednesday is $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and students; Thursday admission is $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and students. Kids ages 10 and under get in free both days.

Pit gates open at 3 p.m. and an open practice starts at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pit passes are $20 and adult grandstand admission is $5. 

Transponders will be available to rent for $20. Pit vehicle/ATV registration is $10 and camping arrangements can be made by calling or texting at 920 819-0475.
