Eight more IMCA Modified drivers earn Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility

VINTON, Iowa (Feb. 26, 2024) – A flurry of early season specials saw eight IMCA Sunoco Stock Car drivers race their respective ways to B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying contention. Bo Partain won four Ernie Mincy Early Thaw features and an Arizona IMCA Tour event over the span of just 28 days. Other Early Thaw winners at Central Arizona Raceway were Brock Beeter, Trent Grager and Ken Schrader. Thomas Hall Jr. topped the Ice Breaker at Abilene Speedway before the Arizona IMCA Tour resumed and wins went to Larry Brigner, Ryan Roath and Brad Whitfield. VINTON, Iowa (Aug. 31, 2022) – Three more Friesen Performance IMCA Modified drivers have raced their way to Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility. Dallas Everett prevailed at Central Arkansas Motor Speedway’s Johnny Wise Memorial. Craig Cassell topped Sunset Speedway’s Doug Walters Classic and Mark Wauge was the Saturday winner at Southern Oregon Speedway. Winners of qualifying events already eligible were Austen Becerra, Tom Berry Jr., Jerry Flippo, Bricen James, Austin Kiefer, Jake Nightingale, Collin Thirlby and Nick Trenchard. By Joyce Eisele BOONE, Iowa (July 20, 2024) – Fans were treated to some great racing at Iowa’s Action Track on Saturday night, which at times provided three and four wide racing. The main attraction of the night at Boone Speedway was the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars with the running of the $5,000 to win King of the Katwalks and the “Game Changer,” Dallon Murty walked away with that crown.  Fifty-one Stock Cars checked in for the night to try their hand at winning the $5,000. The King of the Katwalks was presented by Van Eaton Pork & Fox Welding/Vermeer. The 28-car starting field for the 40-lap feature was determined by heat winners and passing points through the heats, plus four provisionals were added on to the back of the starting grid.
