Registration begins for Aug. 3 Harris Clash

SPRING VALLEY, Minn. – IMCA Modified and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod drivers can register now through MyRacePass to be part of the Aug. 3 Harris Clash at Deer Creek Speedway.

Modifieds race for $3,000 to win their Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier while the Northern SportMods run for $1,200 to win at the 30th annual Clash, IMCA’s longest continuously running one-day special.

The Modified winner earns an additional $500 if their chassis builder participates in the Harris Clash manufacturers’ cup. The race of champions, sponsored by Wehrs Machine and Racing Products, pays $1,000 to win and $100 to start.

Entry fee is $75 for Modifieds and $50 for Northern SportMods if paid by July 31 or $100 for Modifieds and $75 for Northern SportMods after that date. The link to register can also be found on the www.harrisclash.com website.

Transponders are required and will be available to rent at the track.

Pit gates will be open all day and officially open at 3 p.m. The draw closes and hot laps start at 6:15 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.
