STUART, Iowa – The winner of Stuart Speedway’s Whole Hog 50 special for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars brings home the bacon May 30-31.
The inaugural special pays $5,000 and possibly a whole hog to win and a minimum of $400 to start. Heat races and qualifying features for Stock Cars are on Sunday, with all drivers making an ‘A’ main. Stock Cars will run heat races and last-chance qualifiers to fill the field on Memorial Day.
Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying features for the IMCA Modifieds pay $1,000 to win on Sunday and $1,500 to win on Monday.
Top prize for the Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods is $500 on Sunday and $750 on Monday.
Sunday’s IMCA STARS Mod Lite feature pays $500 to win with Yoshimura bonuses of $250, $150 and $100 paid to top three finishing eligible drivers as well.
Mach-1 Sport Compacts race for $250 to win on Sunday while IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks race for $400 to win on Monday.
Purse amounts will increase with additional sponsor contributions.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, KMJ Performance State and track points will be awarded to Modified and Hobby Stock drivers, national, state and track points to SportMod, Mod Lite and Sport Compact drivers both days. Stock Car national, EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region, state and track points will be awarded.
Pit gates open at 4 p.m. both days with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing to follow. Pit passes are $30.
Spectator admission is $15 for adults, $8 for students and free for kids ages eight and under.
