Rain at Stuart

By Josh Reynolds STUART, Iowa (June 2) – Brayton Carter and Todd Van Eaton won qualifying features on night two of Stuart Speedway’s Dynamic Drivelines Dirt Duel. Qualifying for Wednesday’s 50-lap Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod feature was set by four heats and two “B” features. Carter and Colby Langenberg brought the field to life with Carter taking control early.  Cautions bunched the field up a few times but Carter was up to the challenge each time and went on to the win. Carter, Brian Osantowski, Colby Fett and Johnathon Logue were the top four cars that locked into Wednesday’s big show. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars followed the same exact format as the SportMods with Todd VanEaton and Joe Zrost­lik on the front row. VanEaton took control on the bottom side of the track and never looked back, taking the flag to flag, caution-free win. STUART, Iowa – The spotlight shines on three IMCA divisions at Stuart Speedway’s Monday, July 2 Monday Night Spotlight special. IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win in a feature that doubles as a 2018 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier and Harris Dash at the Clash qualifier. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods both run for $700 to win. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing national, regional and Iowa State points, but no track points will be given. The Monday Night Spotlight program will be broadcast by IMCA.TV and concludes with the 12th Dirt Dominator race. Pit gates and the grandstand open at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing to follow. Spectator admission is $5 for adults and free for kids 12 and under. MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (May 23, 2022) – IMCA STARS Mod Lites race for $500 to win each night of their Cornbelt Clash tripleheader over the Memorial Weekend. Features Friday, May 27 at Marshalltown Speedway, Saturday, May 28 at Boone Speedway and Sunday, May 29 at Stuart Speedway all pay a minimum of $100 to start. Yoshimura bonuses of $250, $150 and $100 will be paid to top three eligible finishers on Sunday; hard chargers each night also receive a certificate for a STARS plated tire from Hooser. Entry fee is $30 and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, KMJ Performance State and track points will be awarded each night. Pit gates open at 5:15 p.m. and racing is at 7:30 p.m. at Marshalltown. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. and racing is at 6 p.m. at Boone and Gates open at 5 p.m. and hot laps are at 6:45 p.m. for the opening night of the Whole Hog 50 $5,000 to win special for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars at Stuart.
