$250 Sunoco bonuses at Shelby County Speedway, Bullring at RICO Fairgrounds this weekend

HARLAN, Iowa – After more than a little rain fell in Harlan and much of the surrounding area, Shelby County Speedway will reschedule its inaugural Dale Swanson Memorial. What was to have been the season-opening special on Saturday night, April 10 will now be held Saturday, June 26. More information about that evening’s race program is to be announced. 

HARLAN, Iowa – Shelby County Speedway’s Dale Swanson Memorial moves to a mid-week date with four IMCA divisions on the Tuesday, July 13 card.  IMCA Modifieds race for $2,500 to win and a minimum of $150 to start their Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier while an anonymous donor has ponied up to make the Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod feature $2,000 to win.  The IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature is a B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifier, paying $1,500 to win, and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks run for $1,000 to win. Start money for the Stocks, Hobbies and SportMods is $100. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and KMJ Performance State, but no track points will be awarded. All divisions are draw/redraw. VINTON, Iowa – The payday gets even better this week for the IMCA Sunoco Late Model feature winner at Shelby County Speedway. As part of a regular points night of racing, the August 15 IMCA Late Model winner pockets an extra $250 courtesy of Sunoco Race Fuels. Sunoco bonuses are being presented at IMCA Late Model sanctioned weekly tracks this year. Drivers are eligible for only one bonus during the 2020 racing season. If the feature winner is a previous Sunoco winner, the bonus moves to the next eligible position. 2020 winners have been Jeff Aikey at Independence Motor Speedway, Matt Ryan at 34 Raceway, Joel Callahan at Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway, Eric Pollard at 300 Raceway, Justin Kay at Davenport Speedway and Dalton Simonsen at Marshalltown Speedway.
