HARLAN, Iowa – After more than a little rain fell in Harlan and much of the surrounding area, Shelby County Speedway will reschedule its inaugural Dale Swanson Memorial.
What was to have been the season-opening special on Saturday night, April 10 will now be held Saturday, June 26.

HARLAN, Iowa (Sept. 19, 2023) – The 31st annual Tiny Lund Memorial and inaugural Brandon Saltzman Showdown bring six IMCA divisions to Shelby County Speedway this weekend, Sept. 22 and 23. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars race for $1,250 to win on Friday and for a top check of $4,000 on Saturday, with both winners earning B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility as well. Saturday’s Friesen Performance IMCA Modified winner earns $1,255 and becomes eligible for the 2024 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational. VINTON, Iowa – The payday gets even better this week for the IMCA Sunoco Late Model feature winner at Shelby County Speedway. As part of a regular points night of racing, the August 15 IMCA Late Model winner pockets an extra $250 courtesy of Sunoco Race Fuels. Sunoco bonuses are being presented at IMCA Late Model sanctioned weekly tracks this year. Drivers are eligible for only one bonus during the 2020 racing season. If the feature winner is a previous Sunoco winner, the bonus moves to the next eligible position. 2020 winners have been Jeff Aikey at Independence Motor Speedway, Matt Ryan at 34 Raceway, Joel Callahan at Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway, Eric Pollard at 300 Raceway, Justin Kay at Davenport Speedway and Dalton Simonsen at Marshalltown Speedway. IMCA Modifieds run for $2,000 to win and a minimum of $200 to start their Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifier on Saturday.
