$2,500 is top check at Hancock County’s Maxyield SportMod Nationals

BRITT, Iowa – There’s a $2,500 check waiting for the winner of Hancock County Speedway’s Tuesday, June 16 Maxyield Cooperative SportMod Nationals.

The MaxYield Seed-sponsored special for IMCA Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods pays a minimum of $300 to start. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Iowa State, but no track points will be awarded. Entry fee is $75 and drivers can register on MyRacePass.

Pit gates open at 5 p.m., the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. and racing follows 7 p.m. hot laps. Spectator admission is $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Kids 12 and under get in free. Pit passes are $30.

Also running that evening at Britt are IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Mach-1 Sport Compacts, for national, regional and state points.

Hobo 40 at Hancock County pays IMCA Stock Car winner $2,000

BRITT, Iowa – Forty laps will be the distance and $2,000 will be the top prize at Hancock County Speedway’s Friday, July 31 Hobo 40 special for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars. That feature pays a minimum of $200 to start, has a $75 entry fee and highlights the county fair show. Also on the race night card are IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, KMJ Performance State and track points will be awarded. Hobo 40 for IMCA Stock Cars July 30 at Hancock County

BRITT, Iowa – Forty laps will be the distance and $2,000 will be the winner’s share of the Hobo 40 feature for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars on Friday, July 30 at Hancock County Speedway. The Hancock County Fair show pays a minimum of $200 to start with a $75 entry fee payable through the MyRacePass link. The winner becomes eligible to qualify for the B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational.  IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts are also on the draw/redraw card. Pit passes are $35. Spectator admission is $15 for adults and free for kids ages 12 and under. Hancock County reschedules Northern SportMod Nationals to July 10

BRITT, Iowa (June 19) – Chalk up a “W” for Mother Nature tonight in Britt. Due to rain, already wet track conditions and a less than stellar forecast, Hancock County Speed­way’s Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod Nationals have been rescheduled to Tuesday, July 10. The MaxYield Seed-sponsored special pays $2,500 to win and a minimum of $300 to start. The evening’s IMCA Modified feature pays $1,000 to win and is both a Fast Shafts All-Star Invita­tional ballot and Wehr’s Dash at the Harris Clash qualifier. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars race for $600 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $500 to win. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Iowa State, but no track points will be awarded.
