Four IMCA divisions race Saturday at Bethany Speedway

By Chet Querry BETHANY, Mo. (June 6) – Justin Clark made the 10-hour trip from Hamersville, Ohio, to win the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature in front of a big crowd Saturday at Bethany Speedway. A victim of mechanical issues in a mid-May start at Bethany, Clark took the lead at the drop of the green and stayed in front to the checkers, building a half-lap lead at one point.  Kyler Johnson started seventh and was in second by the three-quarter mark of the race but had nothing for Clark. Kenny Potter finished third. Dustin Reeh and Danny Clark rounded out the top five in fourth and fifth. Clark is coming off a three-win 2019 campaign and will make one more racing trip out west before tour action starts closer to home. Chase Rudolf was the IMCA Modified winner and 10th starting J.J. Baumli was best in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car main. Tyler Inman raced from sixth in winning the Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod feature.

BETHANY, Mo. – Bethany Speedway returns to exciting side-by-side action at the historic fairgrounds on Aug. 22 with IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods. On Saturday, Sept. 5 it will be IMCA and Mo-Kan Night, with the IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod divisions complemented by the first night of the Mo-Kan Nationals. 

OSBORN, Mo. – US 36 Raceway will open May 8 and Bethany Speedway on May 9 with all IMCA points awarded both nights. “Response has already been great and we’re expecting tremendous car counts both Friday and Saturday,” said promoter Jon Boller Jr.  IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, E3 Spark Plugs Missouri State and track points will be given for IMCA Modified, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod divisions at both Friday and Saturday shows. Central and North Central Region points will be available to Modified drivers. Pit gates open at 4 p.m., the grandstand opens at 6 p.m., hot laps are at approximately 7:30 p.m. with racing to follow.  Social distancing guidelines will be maintained in both the pit area and grandstand; track officials will ask each team to stay within their respective pit area and that everyone attending wear a mask or other appropriate facial covering.  Drivers are also asked to pre-register through MyRacePass or the track website.
