I-37 starts new season Saturday with Fast Shafts All-Star ballot qualifier

PLEASANTON, Texas – More than opening night bragging rights are at stake for IMCA Modifieds this Saturday at I-37 Speedway. 

The March 7 main event pays $1,000 to win, with a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berth as well as IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Razor Chassis South Central Region, E3 Spark Plugs State and track points at stake. 

Pit gates and the grandstand open at 4 p.m. The drivers’ meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. with hot laps and racing to follow.

Spectator admission is $13 for adults, $9 for seniors and military personnel with ID, $6 for kids ages six to 12 and free for ages five and under. 

Pit passes are $30, car and driver is $50. Local sponsor for the Modified division is Simpson Safety Equipment.
