ARLINGTON, Minn. (June 1) – Saturday’s MN 93 IMCA Modified feature at Arlington Raceway was won by newcomer Cole Anderson, who took the lead on lap six and stayed in front to the checkers.
Bill Johnson picked up another trophy in the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature. Michael Stien looked as though he was going to victory lane as he had quite a distance ahead of Johnson but Stien’s tire wore down and Johnson was able to take over the race with four laps to go.
The B&B Chassis IMCA Stock Car feature saw Matt Schauer take charge following a restart and capture his first local checkers of the season.
Matt Looft was the final leader in the Unhinged Pizza IMCA SportMod main that was contested right to the final lap and Cory Probst motored from 10th starting to win the Eckblad Trucking IMCA Hobby Stock feature. Eleventh starting Alex Dostal was the Coors Light IMCA Sport Compact winner.
