Tritt dominates Lincoln County opener

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (April 27) – The word to describe Terry Tritt’s on-track performance on opening night Saturday at Lincoln County Raceway was dominating. 

Tritt started on the pole in the D & S Automotive IMCA Sport Compact feature and ran away and hid from the rest of the podium finishers.

Quincy Eggleston ran out of real estate once he got to second and didn’t have enough laps remaining to dent the deficit behind the leader. Darryl Cauffman was third.

Jacob Slough won for the first time in his North Platte GMC Buick IMCA Northern SportMod career, outrunning Dillon Schultz.

Eddie Belec led start to finish of the Maxwell Offroad Center IMCA Modified main event while Mike Nichols worked his way from inside row six at the start to first at the finish of the Knucklehead Garage IMCA Stock Car feature.

Luke Wassom motored from the fourth row and led the last two circuits in winning the Herrick Auto & Marine IMCA Hobby Stock feature.

Lincoln County goes Red, White, Boom!

(July 4) – Getting the chance to shine in front of an Independence Day crowd, four IMCA drivers punched their tickets to the winner’s circle at the Red, White and Boom Night of racing action at Lincoln County Raceway Saturday evening.  In the most exciting feature of the evening, Bob Chalupa was the early leader in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car main event. Chalupa relinquished the lead to fourth row starter Mikey Dancer on the sixth lap.  Dancer had to work through traffic to gain the lead and checked out once he got there. Colton Osborn encountered heavier traffic coming from his fifth row starting spot and ran out of real estate making a move for the lead as the checkered flag waved. Osborn’s efforts were rewarded with the IMCA Modified feature victory. Bellm begins building process at Lincoln County with five IMCA divisions

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (March 18, 2024) – Joe Bellm brings his 37 years of promotion expertise to a third track beginning this season, taking charge at Lincoln County Raceway. Five sanctioned divisions, the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts, run at the North Platte, Neb., venue, on eight dates complementary to those at Bellm-promoted El Paso County Raceway in Calhan and Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke, both in northeast Colorado. “We have had North Platte on our radar. Clough captures Lincoln County IMCA Modified feature

(Aug. 29) – The racing action was fierce as all the chips were on the table for Champi­onship Night at Lincoln County Raceway.  Finishing their seasons by earning feature victories were Brandon Clough, Ty Rogers, Colton Osborn, Luke Wassom and Lonnie Lenser Jr.  Clough weathered a series of cautions in the late laps to hold on for the IMCA Modified victory. Colton Osborn ran out of real estate and had to settle for runner-up accolades.  Showing no rust from competing in North Platte, former regular Rogers, now of Yuma, Ariz., won his heat race and the Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod feature. Second went to Paul Donovan. Leaving no doubt in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature was Osborn, who saw his first two passes to the front negated by cautions before taking over up front on lap four.
