EAGLE, Neb. (June 11) – Sarah Cronin’s first Mountain Dew kick Start IMCA Sport Compact win came Saturday at Eagle Raceway.

“I thought I was lapped, I couldn’t believe it when I found out I was in the lead,” she said from victory lane. “It was scary to be there! My only other top four came when I got a second my rookie year.”

Trent Roth raced from seventh starting to win the NAPA IMCA SportMod feature.

Damon Richards’ third Valentino’s IMCA Hobby Stock checkers of 2016 came from the ninth starting position. Leader Chad Fegley exited that race, which ended with a green, white, checkered, and Richards got the better of Roy Armstrong.

Chad Andersen also scored Eagle win number three this season, after starting 11th.

“I definitely had to work for this one. I made a last minute decision to make a change in the car, and it seemed to work,” he said. “This was an awesome track, but you really had to drive the cushion and hit it right.”

Eighth starting Adam Gullion raced to his third straight IMCA EMI RaceSaver Sprint Car victory.
